That punch at 0:23 is actually from when Goku was attacking Frieza when he still had his blue shirt on. I think it’s right before or after he almost broke Frieza’s back. Regardless, Dokkan really nailed the animations, they might be the best in the game

@@christiancasaverdepertica1802 The 18 ki ko screen is way better. The active skill gets all the hype because of the frown, but the detail on the 18ki ko is leagues above this. Also Goku's face in the anime is a lot more detailed. Dokkan does a great job with the proportions and overall structure of the characters, but the coloring and line work in the anime is still superior imo.

dokkan remake most all animation from anime to the game that's why... also man that arc is aged as well around 10+ years and dokkan released like 8 years ago and they upgraded some old animation to the game

GOSH that is so freakin COOL! I love how they didn't just cut right into him blasting the super, but they actually did do the slow zoom in and fully animated him realizing the opponent just won't stop coming.

These revamped animations DBZ and DBZ Kai bring tears in my eyes. It is like I am rewatching myself as a kid when I first watched DBZ Kai.

0:51 i like how his eyes get a bit bigger during the transiiton

lol goku knocking frieza into lava the man was defiantly struggling with controlling his anger

the shot at 0:31 is much more similar to the RoF remake than the Original Anime

They gave him the manga accurate "somber" look after he finished frieza!

@@jimbojack1164 that sad look actually has a meaning, here tried sparing frieza at the end frieza screwed up his last chance, he didn't wanted to end it this way by killing frieza, but in the end it has to be that way

I think the shot of the kamehameha flying into space is taken from when he shot coolers supernova to the sun

0:38 this part is from the movie of cooler when goku push cooler to the sun with a kamehameha I guess

This is pretty late but the elbow down in the 12 ki that finishes off the animation is from when he knocked frieza in the head after frieza dodged the death saucers.

The 18 ki KO screen is from when cooler blasts goku in the face and then charges a supernova. Goku looks up the exact same way but mirrored

The first frame image is from the manga and the blast going to space is probably from Cooler's first movie.

Why didn't you do the super attack KO screen?

0:16 Goku actually did the elbow thing in the anime, right before Frieza is cut in half.

The comparison is great but some are just bothering me the. elbow to the lava: the lava part is fine but the elbow part isn't a reference from a game it's when Freiza jumped to dodge his Death Slicer but Goku's elbow was ready to hit him from above. You Fool/Bakayaro: ok so this doesn't really matter but the anime used the left hand in that scene but in dokkan they used the right hand i think it would've been better if you referenced the remastered vers. Instead plus it's true to the manga.

Honestly fine with him having it as an active skill but he could've nullified blast supers and used the scene where frieza shoots him in the face with a death beam and he just stands there and tanks it

Bruh why does Dokkan SSJ Goku look so sad after killing Frieza lmao. In the anime he just looks down at him like, "You brought this on yourself."

A lot of the animations are based on the manga instead of the anime but still good either way
