The Singer is "Laura Pergolizzi" she is a female & always has been!

Goosebumps every time I hear her voice, she reminds me of Stevie nicks. Got to get to her LOST ON YOU Live SESSION. And muddy waters live session

FACTS

LP has full control of that vibrato. On big runs, up or down a scale, they go straight tone for a bit then transition to vibrato, and again for each note of the scale, to conserve air for that full run. They can also apply vibrato to their whistle. And oh boy can they whistle!

It is supposedly the song "Time" by Hans Zimmer that is underneath the melody line. Scott Hoying and Mario Jose used the same song on their version of "Lost on You."

Strictly it ain't a cover , she wrote it , and she sings it better than anyone 😀

I don't know what it is about LP's version of "Halo" but my heart soars and could just burst with joy listening to her sing it. It's entirely different when LP does it, and I love it.

Thank you for your reaction. I love seeing people recognize & give her credit. I have a very, very short bucket list bc I'm not super impressionable and have a bit of a mono, low-key personality. LP is one of my few exceptions & brings out my emotion. And seeing them live became the first thing on my tiny bucket list. Also, I might add, a very humble human being. And I like that in a person. 💜

And the band is amazing. But what a so wonderful voice !!! Love you little bird. .

I love LP! She is my 7 year olds favorite singer too!! We practice this one all the time!!

She can sing her ass off, Can't wait for you to hear more from her. Bowser's already got "Lost on you" coming up for you. This was filmed before she completely blew up in 2018. She spent yrs under contract as a ghost writer writing for everyone from Bon Jovi to Backstreet Boys to Cheer.

Ok as you see i couldn't wait... Lol. I wss afraid i wss gonna forget it.. She is so different from what i usually listen to but i like it. Wasn't sure at the start but i grew on me quick... Her vibrato is crazy and i like the arrangement and hiw they set thr whole thing up. Is its Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston level?.. Idk.. I've only heard one song so i got to listen to more to make such a big decision.. But she is unik and i like it. I never heard of her before. Hee vibrato is on another level.. Its like you would think she almsot stod on lne of those eclipse machines or what they're called amdits starts vibrating. Lol... Imma definitely check out some more stuff.. Come with some recommendations if you got some..i dont even know where to start. But one thing i do know is that i will start tomorrow.. Im heading to bed.. Goodnight 😴

This performance is a wonderful and overwhelming display of their stamina… All those long notes with those fast vibrato , sometimes going into a crescendo. And then showcasing their range toward the end with those crazy high notes…? Just insane. And managing to still display their emotions and make us feel? Wow.

I love her and think she is a musical genius.

I highly recommend reacting to FOREVER FOR NOW Live from Sun King Studio. It’s a totally stripped down song that she wrote with Isa “ the machine” Summers. You will hear just how incredible her voice is AND you will get to hear her very unique and also incredible whistle. I mean her whistle has vibrato.
