Im wondering why the Hook Reveal 5 is more expensive than the Hook Reveal 5x .. any idea why ?

Yes, the mapping. So, 5x let's you GPS on a white screen... while the other let's you see you do GPS on maps , almost like Google maps.... does that make sense? 🤔

You won't regret it. Well worth it. I'm a huge fan of the map making. Makes things easier if you do tournaments. Let me know if you need help with anything.

what is maximum deep scan for this 5ss model?

I haven't found it lol. The deepest spot in the Snake River in Burley I have found is 45ft.

Do you need a micro sd card to record genesis live or will it automatically save to the unit?

Great question! Yes, Genesis Live can save to your unit, BUT the unit only has so much memory. Your best bet is to get the SD Card. Also, the unit can only handle (if I remember correctly) a 32 gb Micro SD card and lower. I don't believe I addressed that on the video, thank you!!!

how long does that battery last with that depth finder??

Depends on what my depth finder is doing. If it's just on depth finding, then about 9 and half-ish hours. If I'm logging sonar as well as depth finding, then 6 to 7, if I'm doing all of those mentioned as well as Genesis Live, well about 4 to 5 lol. And even less if the brightness of the screen is on full bright. Honestly, I've been thinking of trying out a Dakota Lithium just to see which one holds best. But this Nocqua is just so compact, it's easy to carry around. Sorry, hope this info helps.

Hey bro i see how it doesnt come with Side Scan For Structure! And all that ? So does it only come with down scan imiging and all that beside the side scan ?

Yes, this one is the 5SS meaning 5" Split Shot. If you want the side scan you should consider the 7TS meaning the 7" Triple Shot. Which also means it has side scan, down scan, and sonar; plus maps. If you get any version with an "X" it meaning does not do/have maps. Hope that makes sense lol.
