Today were going over Setting up your Elite Ti2 and Ti Series Fish Finders for Ice Fishing. This instructional video will show you how to make your summer boat unit better than any flasher on the Market. From start to finish. Joclyn also mentions some great tips during the video for target definition, setting the sensitivity, using your zoom levels and backtrack features properly.
Going through the settings step by step by yourself is great for helping to learn your fish finder unit top to bottom and for a better experience on the water. This helps to increase your odds of finding fish. If at any point you ever need to re-program your unit you can refer back to this video.

Awesome video. My question is about grounding and touch screen. When using my touch screen ice fishing, I have to manually ground my unit by holding my transducer cable or a negative post of my power box with my bare hands to be able to have my unit recognize my touch. Is there a way that I can use my touch screen without manual grounding? TIA

This is a hard one to diagnose without having your unit infront of me. Maybe your battery post isn’t putting out enough voltage to properly activate the touch portion. My biggest recommendation is work from the battery to the unit. That’s how I would initially work. If it wasn’t working at all that would be one thing. What’s your voltage on the unit reading?
If you buy the 9 pin black connector transducer you need to select HDI M/H 9 in installation. The pti-wbl installation won't let you access chirp mode

This helped my problem but anytime I try to do the split screen with and have two sonars the second one is just a white screen .. any ideas?

Can you use 50kHz for the wide cone?

most ice transducer cones will be 83/200khz. the 50khz cone angles are usually used for open transducers in saltwater transducer and super deep freshwater
What parts do I need to turn my elite ti2 9 into an ice fishing unit?

Ice transducer, 10amp battery, power cord, bracket, stand and bag to put it all in.

@@joeborah3887 I am not at the store year round. I don’t have the parts infront of me. They should all be on the lowrance website. The stand and bag are usually sold in kits to fit a certain size screen. A Dakota or marcum 10amp hr lithium ion poe4 or 12amp hr lead acid should be good. Pick them up in a lot of places. Same with the electrical connectors for the battery. The bracket, ice transducer and power cord should all be on the site
Unable to select high chirp or med chirp. Says cannot operate Chirp donor frequencies while StructreScan enabled,but cannot figure out how to turn off StructureScan. Help

its on the mapping screen, it should be in the overlay category. select it off. It's the real-time side and downscan overlayed on your map. Which transducer do you have?
