Lowest (1992) and Highest (2023) Water Level in Lake Berryessa||
Lake Berryessa is the largest lake in Napa County, California. This reservoir is formed by the Monticello Dam, which provides water and hydroelectricity to the North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. If water levels in the Lake Berryessa reservoir at the top of Monticello Dam rise too high, the excess water begins whirlpooling into a big hole, seemingly carved into the surface of the lake. Known fondly by locals as the 'Glory Hole', the hole is not actually a hell-mouth, although the vortex sure does look like it. ( Source: Wikipedia)

Technically, the Salton Sea shouldn't exist. It was, pretty much a dry lake bed before 1906. A canal collapse filled it up by accident.

Change in temp. Salinity, if winter was colder means More snow on mountains that can melt in summer, how strong the summer was … etc

This is an artificial lake created by damming a river for water storage (a reservoir). Its level falls in summer, when California is dry, and rises in the winter when the state receives rain and snow. During drought the lake level will fall dramatically. During extraordinarily wet winters like this year the lake will fill up.
