I like the propane generators because you don't have to drain the old gas from them if you only use them during a power outage.

Orthene works great here in Mississippi, they could make the container smaller to save plastic

The Ego string trimmer is incredible. Been using one for a few years. Reloading the string is quick and easy once you get the hang of it.

In my last move, my DeWalt tools somehow grew legs and walked away. The only tools I have left are a Ryobi drill and an OLD Sears jigsaw and belt sander! Do you think around Father’s Day there will be more sales on power tools? What power tools would the average DIYer need to handle most home jobs?

That Skil mower is not self propelled but is pretty nice, especially for flat lawns. Original price was $279 when released, but down to $149 on clearance I think.

this is what happens when harbor freight gives the old school a run for their money. Harbor Freight is quickly showing up lowes and home depot, along with all their tool brands with the same or better quality at 20-30% lower prices minimum (often more).

We've had very good luck with Samsung and LG actually

We are seeing way less gas-powered, plus I imagine there is a ton more profit in electric with the batteries, and the mowers are more expensive than gas

yeah of course I bought the 20v oscillating tool and it did not qualify for the extra battery like I thought. Dear Dewalt, if you gonna do it for some, do it for all.

13:20 That Craftsman 20V power washer is not as powerful as the Dewalt or HP Ryobi, but is more like the non-HP ryobi one. I would not recommend the 350 psi level ones unless all you want is to lightly rinse something far away from a spigot. Opt for the HP Ryobi or Dewalt. They are still limited,but more useful

Once the BOGOs started in October, they ran until Jan 28, then they start another one to try to get the sales goals accomplished

Jeff, any word on the Titan Submersible from anyone? Didn't expect much from the CG, just to regurgitate info from others and claim that it was their discovery, but I kind of thought someone would leak something! Still think the CF to end caps was the weakest link!

I will expand; don't buy Korean anything at this point. Seems like every few years Hyundai or Kia have a controversy over their cutting corners. Spontaneous fires, brake failures, skimping on basic security features, etc etc etc

Regretted my family's Samsung french door refrigerator for years until we could replace it. Constant issues with ice and/or water where it shouldn't be. Still have damage in our hardwood floor from that.

⁠@ulceyeah, ours leaks water into the crisping drawers. We have to keep things in containers to keep them dry. Samsung is fine for electronics, but not appliances.

Not to change the subject but...... Somebody said they could not find a piece of the graphite epoxy material at the Titan implosion Site..... And they just leave us hanging..... A chemist told me that oil and oxygen detonate at room temperature at 2000 PSI.... Yes I know that on oxygen acetylene welding tanks you never put oil on the oxygen fitting. And I also know that that's the principal of a diesel engine works.... Except in that situation it gets heated up and the detonation takes place in a much lower PSI.... They use glow plugs end the compression of air and the diesel being sprayed into cylinder at high pressure. Makes the heat.. and detonates when it's ready. Graphite epoxy composite I'm sure has oxygen in it.... And oils.... And it had massive amounts of pressure .. my question is did it detonate like plastic explosive does.? Maybe it's ( BS ) that they have not found pieces of the graphite epoxy composite. My dad was an engineer I've been raised to be inquisitive.
