By far the best video tutorial on this subject!!🎉 Thanks bro. Straight to the point with real results.. subbed
From one channel to another, this video was well done. Great job
Can't believe you got that Vette for $5000. What a deal. Cheapest one I can find out here is $8800 for a theft recovery (salvage title) convertible automatic with the exhaust missing from the manifolds back and has some crap paint and ripped seats. Decent ones go for $15-20k here and Z06 are near $30k here in Utah.

Damn, yeah not going to lie I stole it from my buddy. He just wanted out of his driveway. Never owned a vette & definitely love this thing. It’s come a long ways from when I published this video

@@JJBanuelos Yes sir, you indeed stole it. Even if that car has 100000+ miles it would be going for at least $12000+ here in Michigan lol. Car looks good being lowered bro, I have an 04 that I've been tempted to lower and after watching your video I think I have been convinced. I don't want to scrape everywhere I drive so I think I'll do it like yours, hell the valances are already pretty low in the front but I think it can go down some. Anything more than an 1.5 drop in front seems like you would be dragging the valance all around on a smooth level road lol.
Good video. This is the best one that I have seen on this subject

Is there anyone who also had issues with the leaf spring (or whatever the lower black thing is that goes from wheel to wheel) getting really close to the inner barrel of the wheels? I got custom wheels and we're looking at maybe 3mm or clearance on each side. Will that be an issue?
Great video

U had me messed up !!! LOLOL U did the back first......Don't know why i was thinking that was the front LOL But i''m still scared to do that to mine. The streets here are brutal Love that slammed look though

Lol yeah I can see how that could mess someone up. Man you don’t have to slam it all the way but a little bit helps
This is nuts... Is this safe though? Im so down to do this because of how cheap it is but will it increase likeliness of my suspension breaking somehow?
@JJBanuelos
2 жыл бұрын
Safe for sure. Suspension won’t break at all just as long as you don’t slam it all the way till you don’t have any suspension travel
Wow this is an AMAZING ADJUSTMENT for $15 dollars. 1st questions. Will this work with ANY VEHICLE?. (I have a 98 Lexus gs400 & a 94 Acura Legend). 2nd, why didn't you tighten up the NEW BOLT in the Rear?. Do you just leave it Loose and the weight of the Car will keep it in place 🤔. Luv your channel, you have a NEW SUBSCRIBER now 🙂

You know it 🍻
So would you say a 6" bolt could work or is that the same length of the factory bolt? Trying to get a 1-2 finger gap in the rear and 6" grade 8 can be found in Lowes or home Depot rather than having to order 7" online. Seems like the 7" was way too low.
@JJBanuelos

The 6” would be good I want to say it might be a inch longer than factory bolt

@@JJBanuelos ended up buying the 6" at Lowe's just now. Will let you guys know how it turns out lol. $3.50 per bolt for grade 8 but I did buy a regular 7" hex bolt just to test it out (won't be driving the car with it, just mock up) and if I like the ride height better I will order the grade 8 7" online. Thanks for the quick response 👍

So the 6" works but it's not as low as yours because I believe you have 18s and 19s. My c5 base has 17s and 18s in the rear so it doesn't look as low. However, the 6" bolt is probably not a good option because there aren't any threads left. In the unlikely case the nut backs loose, there wouldn't be anything as a safety net. Maybe someone can locktite the nut if they really want to but personally I wouldn't recommend it. I'll be ordering the 7" bolt which will also give more fine adjustment. The one thing I didn't like is the front adjustment isn't low enough lol, still about three finger gap. I saw about removing or cutting down the factory bushings. Might try that first and then if not I'll order the actual front lowering kit.
What size wheels and tires do you run? Doing the same to my C5
@JJBanuelos
Жыл бұрын
The ones here in the video were factory C6 wheels 18” fronts & 19” rears. Don’t remember the tires sizes.
