fun fact, when they are negated number monsters can be destroyed by any monster. That clause is actually just a card effect.

Should've added Spell Card like Time Tearing Morganite that says: For the rest of the duel, number monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle except by number monster. During your Draw phase, before you draw, can stack the utopia related cards.

For real though, I see tons of silver/gold replays of D/D/D players who do a 5 card combo vs no hand traps and end on 0 interruptions, like, why play a deck like this if you don't know what you're doing?

@@demander599 Well I kinda disagree on this critisim becasue there are 2 types of players we are discussing: 1- Players who genuinely don't know the deck like this case 2- Players who wanna have fun with BASED PURE version maybe even anime build of the deck which in theory end on the same endboard of the competitive with a singular difference of baron ... But people sometimes like to go the extra step and do the triple armageddon anime board (It is fun actually and wins are so satisfying)

All D/D/D decks are pure, you get type locked so early in almost any combo line, and I'm not talking about players who do fun combos like ending on the 3 Super Doom Kings, that still takes knowledge of the deck, I'm talking about players like the ones showcased here who just press buttons until there's nothing else they can do, because they don't want to learn their deck, and then lose to a 3500 beatstick.

You just know the plant player was running vijam because it's a "seed"

As a European, watching the Rikka player against the Vegas player made me go on a trip to Switzerland... Geneva to be exact...

Explanation for Cubic cards: Vijam vijam place a Cubic counters when attacked, and scale itself. You can sp summon it from scale to monster zone. monsters with Cubic counters can't attack and has its effects negated. Cubic Ascension (trap card) when opponent's monster declare an attack, sp summon Vijam from deck, then that monster attacks Vijam instead. in GY effect (Cubic Ascension) If your life point is 2000 lower than opponent's, sp summon up to 3 Vijam from hand, deck, or gy.

On behalf of all D/D/D players that was not an accurate representation of what we can do

Thats not what happend. Mahad needs to reveal itself to Special summon but contract draw makes it already revealed. U cant reveal an already revealed card so thats why mahad no ss

Where the hell were all these players when I was starting out? I got put against a meta Tearlaments deck on Bronze that got his full board out on turn 1.

Hello, former Mystic Mine player here The reason you gain LP instead of burning at first with cauldron is that in a simplified gamestate, you gain more LP (500) then you would be able to inflict (300). So until you generate enough counters to actually put your opponent on a clock, you may as well just increase your own LP the first few turns to possibly prevent them from having game if they clear your board, and if they don't clear your board; you'll have game 1 turn later anyway
