Dave A was way better but a Texas homie and the rest of the woke band couldn’t handle that!😂

@@jamesstafford62 really a shame on how that all worked out… Eddie couldn’t stand someone that had a different ideology than him in the band. Anyways… Jack Irons was always my favorite drummer PJ had, just love his approach and feel but there is no doubt that Dave A was the most skilled and powerful player they had. Eddie Vedder never ceases to continue to piss me off

Just think, Dave A. could’ve stayed in the band, but Eddie wouldn’t allow because Dave A. was a gun owner. So they replace him with Jack Irons who did an unbelievable job with the band but in early ‘98 needed to figure out some health issues but PJ couldn’t wait a couple months for him to get better. They’ve stiffed 2 great drummers because they couldn’t compromise. None of that is Matt’s fault and I’m glad that Matt is in the band and has been for 24 years but…

He's a monster and I never really noticed it was very like JCP. Soundgarden are my favourite band and this is one of my top Foos songs. Thanks.

@@HazMattLive Also, funny story. The year the Foo Fighter’s debut album came out I had asked my uncle for the album. So on Christmas Eve I opened it up and sure enough he got me the Foo Fighters self titled debut. He then says, “Ha! The Food Fighters?? (Yes he said food) They’ll be a huge success (sarcastically of course)! I still bring that up to this day about how the FF are one of the most successful rock bands ever.

@@MikesWorld1984 Love it! When the self titled record came out, I was probably just able to walk (lol) and around 2002 or so my brother got The Colour and the Shape and I said the same thing. "Is that a Food Fighters typo joke or something?" and here we are years later when I picked them back up in 2015 and been hooked ever since.

Matt Cameron is a genius. If he wasn´t the drummer of Pearl Jam I would want him to join the Foo Fighters. He fits very well.
