Daut vs 6 Low Elo Legends make it happen.

For me, the 2 wolves ignoring The Devil's units all game, waiting for the optimal time to strike, was the most interesting part of the game. They launched a carefully timed attack and were successful without any casualties. I'd say Gaia won this game.

@Bob Don't think he is saying he doesn't enjoy it, but it's obviously not the only reason he plays. He has to play well, there is a bit of stress when that happens. These low elo guys have a lot less to worry about.

Please do more of these with Daut. The disbelief in his voice when seeing the players' actions is priceless.

You know DauT is a cool guy to hang with when he talks about DauT buildings. Totally owning that meme. Also great sense of humor

@Ulf Knudsen He said "it's like watching two fat kids try to play tennis" - which is actually quite a good analogy, fat kids can play aoe2 fine but in tennis they are low elo af.

I love co-casts, the back and forth between experienced players and the second opinion and sense of humor. Especially on low elo games.

Can we just talk about how at 600 elo we have players who know the basic starting build order of the game, can get to ages in decent times, and are able to scout rush, etc? It blows my mind that 5 years ago 1000 elo players would lose to these guys. The entry skill for this game is only getting worse and worse for actual new players lol.

jebril -so true! I started playing an embarrassingly long time ago, when the only place to play was the “Zone” and the only way to study the game was a book that came with the disc. There were recorded games on the disc to help you learn, and the top player was the “Sheriff”. If you wanted to play you pretty much had to play on a Friday night cause the game was seriously dying. So massive props to Tristian and others for breathing new life to an incredible game!

Favourite LEL vid so far. Sub 800 Elo definitely give the most entertainment and having Daut on was a great addition

Roleplaying? Simulates population stagnation at the beginning of Middle ages/the effect of plagues, preventing the booming of cities. Or he's like me and remembers the idling TC every 10-15min, xD

I have played this game for 20yos single player. I had bad internet /comp as a kid, and last year got my first gaming laptop. I'v been watching, zero empires memb ,nili, and you the last few years(14-prestent). However it is your low elo series that made me jump into multiplayer. I realized I'm not the only one that can not get that 18min castle:)

I don't know why but hearing Daut's voice cheers my days so much, plus with t90's one, it's heaven 😌

When you were talking to daut about if he remembers his old days and all that. I remember mine during AOE before AOK came out. And I wish I could get those days back. The game was so marvelous and mysterious. My first rts. I didn't know about any strategies or how to play the game. Running around with a few villagers and trying to survive. Those were the good days. I'll never get them back. I still have memories of those times and can even picture them. By time AOK was released it was a whole 'nother world and I was no longer a virgin to the series. The mystic had worn off. But I miss those innocent days. Why did you have to remind me of that.

I swear every time I watch LEL their Feudal uptime is still better than mine.

Uptime isn't the only important thing. You could just eat sheeps with 6 vills at the beginning and click up asap. Needs to be a economic situation that enables your strategy. If you have zero idle time and are able to fullfill your strategy with zero resources left it would be the perfect time.

DauT's remarks about populations maxing on 75 back than gave me a hopeful vision for the future, where we can build armies if thousands on huge ass maps

he put the scouts in the transport to hide their numbers. 600 IQ

There is something about Daut. The way he speaks and his attitude are fun and entertaining. His accent puts it over the top in terms of projecting his emotion more as well.

Blue is so thoughtful for making houses for the villagers right next to their work place.

Remember playing AoE in 1998 and the pop cap was 50 but was raised by mass que we would have mass amounts of unit making buildings. in team play my brother and myself came across some low elo players and we both made only villagers 200 each and tower rushed them. They called us cheaters and quit after towers pop up like every where instantly with mass peons. Them were the good days.

The transport ship was necassary for sneak. Red was keeping a tight strategy throughout the game and would have won if it weren't for the wolves.

T90, i have an idea for a troll tournament. ask pro player to play according to the low elo logic. fixed castle places, houses only around the forest, multiple sheep harvesting, etc. and of course, DauT has to be the cocaster :D

im low elo myself, but i think red lost because he only attacked from one route (north), so when blue put those towers there it was pretty much over, and blue attacked red from behind, and red got no defenses cause he was too focused on the north

Anyone noticed that the wolves are only attacking red in 27:55? It feels strange. They are standing next to blue knights all the time.

I tried some mp a couple weeks ago, got on a team islands game, but victory was conquest.....I was able to win due to spam trash units, and in my mind the entire time I was spamming, my brain was like "I really hope T90 doesn't cast this game....", that and kicking myself for not rushing him in feudal when I had a good opportunity to do so.....
