    Geez. Wish I could go ... Too cute ... "I'm not drivin' a mini-van ... (tap, tap, big smile!)." I don't even know her and I'd say she's already a well-trained cowgirl!

I have thousands upon thousands of trail miles. My horses do just about anything I ask. Excited to continue learning your lives...I do more than 60miles a week. Of course work..and life gets in the way. Hope my days look more like horses and less like mundane garbage one day.

very glad youre one of the few people that knows when to be patient, and when the horse is just sassy- knowing when they just dont want to, vs when they are unsure/fearful but trying. People now a days are either the, "always treat always praise do no wrong", or "hit wack high expectations listen to me the first time", types, great to see someone in between!

I recently kinda fell into the horse world. Long story short, my brother-in-law passed away in the spring, and my family spent a lot of time at the ranch he was working at. We also ended up with his horses, and I wound up taking on his wrangling duties to cover hay, and expenses. This summer, I got my first trip. Picking up hunters in the Rockies, in a park, that is only accessible by foot or hoof. I was riding a pretty green Clydesdale X. Out of the staging area, within the first ten feet, is a creek. We did a lot of tarp work, and a lot of tight trail riding to prepare him, but I never clued into water being a problem. He hesitated up to that creek, and being a giant herd bound baby, and seeing the rest of the horses leaving without him, he wound up, and jumped right into the middle of the creek. Then, every step, he tried to get back on top of the water. It was messy, and I was nervous, perched upon this mountain of a horse, with the owner of the ranch, and another big outfitter, who was getting ready for a trip of his own, watching me from the staging area. We got through it, but another kilometer down the trail, and there was a major river crossing. I also knew that within the next five kilometers, there were another four crossings across the same river. We got to the bank, and he hesitated. he sprung up, landed in the river. I was expecting another stomping splashing ride through the water, and I was getting nervous. I stayed loose, getting ready for the rough ride. Now, I don't know if it's because the first creek didn't kill him, or if he just figured something out, but at that moment, he calmed right down, and walked across that river as smooth as could be, like he was made to be in the water. The next crossings were flawless, and he didn't even slow down, unless it was to grab a quick drink, and the next day coming back was the same. We did great on that trip, because he did great on that trip. I can't wait to get back into those mountains, but next time, we will try checking out some puddles first.

I hope your cutting stock works on teenage boys. God Bless you and your wonderful family. I'm anxiously waiting to see more. A fan for Northern Illinois cow country.

Y’all have a great looking ranch. It reminds me of my aunts ranch down in Alabama. I live in Pennsylvania but I was born in Alabama and I grew upAround horses. This channel makes me remember how important horses are. I’ve never stopped riding though as I do just size which I do dressage and polocrosse. But when I go down to Alabama I work my cattle I’m 11. This reminds me of my horse Dakota she’s a believer in two-year-old Philly that that I got from South Carolina we were cattle all the time but we don’t but I don’t live in the same area as her so it’s kind of hard to ride her all the time because she’s in Alabama. I have a 17 2 hand chestnut warmblod mare and we do dressage. But nothing beats Working the cattle out on the fields. Some of my favorite things to do with my friends when I go down south. Anyway the reason for this long rant is because your channels really reminded me of how much I miss working my cattle and that’s the main reason I want you. Your channel has really inspired me So I just bought my own cow horse his Name is half Moon and he’s a little bit a quarter cross. Thank you so much I can’t believe I found your channel I love it it’s one of my Favorite channels.

Hi Sir, just found your channel today. Really interesting watching you work with a variety of horses at different levels of education. I do subscribe to a a few horse clinician channels but you are one of the few that shows horses training and working in the real environment. Also great to see other aspects of your family life. Thanks for being so open hearted and letting us into your life.

I only found your videos last week. I love them. It’s very interesting to me to be able to make comparisons between Australia and America. Love your horses. Lucky is great type, nice mover. He’d be one I’d pick to take out after cattle (even with that scar on his off side hind). I look forward to watching more of your videos. 😊

I made my daughter learn to shift an 18speed this summer and to back up the stock trailer this fall ,and she got grumpy with me but she did good. We live on the prairies and have very few water hazards to work with but when we are training colts we have them walk through every puddle ,and by the time we take them to the hills to check cows or gather bulls it isn't a battle to cross all the creeks.
