You will need:
RTL Dongle Receiver
SDR Sharp radio software
Visual Analyser Project Software (yes it is spelled this way!)
Signal Generator
SDR Sharp
select ► to turn radio on
set bandwidth to 13KHz
set frequency
Visual Analyser Project Software
settings, scope, set scope grid to 12
settings, device, set to (Windows INPUT volume control))
(you can mute the speaker and not affect the levels)
settings select OK
main screen select ON
set Zoom to around 130
Generator
set deviation to 5KHz
set modulation to 1000Hz
connect SDR Dongle antenna
Visual Analyser Project Software
using Zoom and windows volume control
set audio for + - 5 divisions
connect SDR dongle to off air antenna
4KHz audio peaks should just touch the 4TH division

Curtis (and everyone), thanks for taking the time to explain this in detail! I will try this out on our amateur radio repeater to see how it compares with how it was originally adjusted with a TinySA.
