Ad missing in middle

The film stood unbiased and portrayed the characters without taking a side. However, I feel that the reviewers (all three reviewers that i listened to) have painted a picture that makes the male lead look cheap. the moment he realised that she is not hurt by his actions alone, and that she actually is a very different person, he moves on politely. In his defense, everytime he blocked her or tried to move on, she kept going back to him in the name of affection, confusing him about where she actually stands. Even toward the end, when he says bye, she hugs him and cries, but thank god he stands firm and leaves anyway. And in the end he doesnt even hold a grudge against her and took the whole experience the right way. I think the progressive elite circles are doing the same thing that the conservative lot are doing. Just spitting on each other trying to make the other side look bad. We are all different and we should respect that, and when there are conflicts we should COMMUNICATE, which the female lead never really does in the film. Sure, we all have flaws and so did the characters from the film. And they were incomptaible and got seperated. Simple as that! There is no need to make him look like a cheapo who didnt "deserve" her.

@@Srivanisareswathy07 father is an alcoholic. Addict. Doesnt work and support his family financially. Doesnt treat his wife and son nice. Cheats on his wife. Steals wife's money and spends it on his girlfriend. Mother allows all of this although she is financially independent. Allows son to grow up in all the noise and abusive environment. arun constantly sees his parents fighting and his mother getting beaten. Arun wants to stop this but he cant. So he feels angry all the time. He sees his father cheating and using his wife. So becomes scared of his partner doing the same to him. His mom sets a bad example for how a gf/wife should be. Although he knows she should not have to struggle so much, he still grows up with unrealistic and sometimes unfair expectations of how his partner should be. Also he grows up thinking that no matter how bad your partner is you should never leave them. All of this is toxic parenting.

Bro to be honest, lately all the movies are giving only bad ideas about women.. like they are waiting ready to fall for the next guy 😐 when most of us are still stuck with first love... Pasangata tha lover pesunale, the lover insecurities are to the roof.. specially if the guy is not in a good financial status or different work environment... Boy besti boy besti nu Ela movie layum same elavu tha .. as if IT working women have no work 😂 no timelines and deadlines to finish... Even for this movie i was so worried they are gonna suddenly introduce her colleagues as her new bf nu.. thank God 🙏 finally one movie which does not defame women... And also covers what a married women in an abusive relationship should do...

To be really honest, i have few issues in the story as in they could have elaborated on the issues between Arun’s parents and could have made first half more clear because lag ah feel aachu. Today I went to the movie and I was shocked to see many men in the theatre applauding during Arun’s toxic nature and while he was shouting and ignoring Divya. This is classic example of few toxic men who actually feel masculine while hurting women.
