Actually mani is not at all happy with rahmans work in both ps 1 and ps2 and he openly said he missing ilayaraja. Ps1 and ps 2 music was disaster esp tht ponni nadhi song. Ps1 is periodic movie song pole thonunilla

AR Rahman സൗണ്ട് എൻജിനീയർ പ്ലസ് മുസിഷ്യൻ combo pakage ആണ്. ഇന്ത്യൻ സിനിമ ഇത്തരം എക്സ്പീരിയൻസ് ആദ്യമായി കൊണ്ട് വന്നത് പുള്ളിയാണ് ഇന്നും റഹ്മാൻ കൊണ്ട് വന്ന പാതയിൽ പലരും പിന്തുടരുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. ഒരേ സമയം ക്ലാസ്സിക്, പോപ്, jazz, ഫോൾക് hip hop, rock, Desi Indian , carnatic, Hindustani ,sufi western classic , എല്ലാം കൈവെച്ച ഹിറ്റ് ആക്കിയ ഒരേ ഒരു മജീഷ്യൻ musician. Yes as Ajims said, the way the listner vibe to their growing age, they easily connect to that composer and assume greatness, that's why today's reels genre thinks anirudh matches to their emotions. But A.R rahman ,even now his first film roja song is his one of the best for music lovers and he changed the musical sensibilities of that generation till now in different kind of film music genre ,the different and refreshing way each film song and scene get accepted (often take time on repeated listening..😊) musically over these 30 more years in different language film industry,that cant be matched even in the future. GOAT 🙏

ARR is a genius man, he uses the famous london philaharmonic orchestra for his compositions just like raja. ARR and Raja are genuises, i am happy for Anirudh and love his music but he is not yet in the leagues of ARR, Raja. Just Dilse album is enough to prove who is ARR. He is a genuis and world class composer.

Of course this is Anirudh's era I agreed, , but I cannot compare him with Rahman because Rahman had been utilised the legendary singers like Hariharan, Udit , SPB, Chitra Unnimenon and Swranalatha etc to create the songs llike Ae Ajnabi, Uyire, Kadhal Rojave and Kannnalane and many many more with his extraordinary talents, Can u suggest any song from Anirudh to compare atleast with these songs?

People don't care about songs now as we saw earlier. Social media prefer songs fitting for reels and music directors are forced to do accordingly..

Never ever match or compare Anirudh with A R Rahman with an instantaneous impacts. Rahman is a legend, while Anirudh is an awesome music director.

2012 തൊട്ട് ഉള്ള എല്ലാ അനിരുദ്ധ് ചെയ്‌ത പാട്ടും BGM നോക്ക്. ഇനി പോയി compare ചെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങ്. എല്ലാ വർഷവും അനിരുദ്ധ് ഹിറ്റുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

The standard set by AR Rahman in 90s and 2000s is so high that even ARR can not match that level now Anirudh is now having peak time just like what Harris Jayaraj had in 2000s(Ghajini,Ayan,Anniyan, Varanam Aayiram etc) But recall value is something that differentiates A R Rahman from others But Anirudh’s open hearted approach to sing for any music director is worth mentioning

ഞാൻ ചെറുപ്പത്തിലേ തൊട്ട് arr പാട്ടുകൾ കേട്ട് വളർന്നയാളാണ്. ഇപ്പോഴും 90s പാട്ടുകൾ ആണ് യാത്രയിൽ ഞാൻ കേൾക്കുന്നതും. അതാണ് വ്യത്യാസം.... ❤️പക്ഷെ അനിരുദ് ഇന്നത്തെ കാലത്തെ പാട്ടുകാരൻ ആണ്.
