One of Lovebites lesser known masterpieces, thanks for reacting to this. They are all playing at top tier level, and how about some kudos for Haruna? Her stick tricks while smiling at the camera gets me every time.

Have you already watched the drummer Hibiki Shiraishi, who is part of the Japanese session band "Chaos Control" (Metal, with Miho on the bass guitar)? Maybe you want to watch their mv "The legacy within". The drummer there does some tricks, too, but at a higher speed. 😁 I don't want to compare both bands, this is just a hint.

How about the "Little Big Engine" on this. She's a runaway train. And she finds time to mess around with stick twirling at this speed. Total bad-ass!

So immensly talented, I'm a guitar solo simp. Always feel like Midori deserves a forearm bash after her solos and Miyako deserves a bow down salute after her's. We're not worthy, but so fortunate to get to experience this much talent in one band. I agree with you that you know what to expect from them, but it never ceases to amaze each time. Other than Nemophila I rarely listen to much else. Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, etc. are currently collecting dust in my den. I have Tix to see them in Atlanta next year and hoping they add some more dates as well.

See you in Atlanta. I’m 74 and can’t get enough of 12:57 these ladies. Found them 3 years ago and they renewed my love of music.

As with all the videos from this concert, just remember, Miako has a 3 or 4 month 'Baby bump' rocking out inside her behind that guitar.. So you will notice that for a 2 hour concert she is wearing flat shoes & not the normal high heels. Great reaction man. I've grown up with all the big bands right back from the early 70's. These women are my favorite now. They have the ability to make my eyes weep just from the sheer pride I have for them. It's the music itself that drags the emotions out of me.The writing & structure of the songs. And then the visuals &performances. Absolutely sublime.

3:21 Their dresses are a _brilliant_ corporate identity (or marketing) decision, in my opinion. In first line, for me personally, the dresses make them "priestesses of Metal". And they actually play sort of "holy" music, because they present Metal pure, clean and demanding, without sinister lyrics or botchful music. Metal as it is best. And their dresses make them seem like "girls next door", whereas they actually are grown-up and mature *ladies* , who can easily overwhelm us with their music and arrangements.

Damn man, you nailed it. That's right, these women represent quality, elegance, beauty, even with a touch of innocence, without being sexualized at all, they are beautiful. It is the perfect counterpoint to what heavy music has become in the West, something dark, sad, dirty at times. Just seeing a gang of old men in shorts playing the guitar, like the current Iron Maiden, is even aesthetically unpleasant to me, in addition to the fact that they have been playing the same song, with small variations, for 30 years. Japan's female rock groups have revolutionized everything, thank goodness.

... and me "Iron Maiden" - when I discovered them in the 1980s. Without wanting to compare both bands. Both bands have different forte's, and different approaches, despite delivering excellent Metal. I just mean the innovative and demanding approach, when they appeared on the scene.

That song / arrangement / vibe is sooo "Iron Maiden"-like in my opinion (in the best way, of course!), from beginning to the end. Maybe similar to the song "Stratego" (album "Senjutsu")? That is meant as a praise, for Iron Maiden, Lovebites and Nemophila are my personal favorite Metal bands.

Great reaction, as always, to IMHO the greatest band of the world in our generation, or even since the Big Bang! Lovebites, Nemophila and The Warning are my all-time favorites. May I also recommend again to check out some Fate Gear (songs like "Unbreakbale Wings", "Headless Goddess", "Megabulltes", "Architecture Slave Dictator" (no MV afaik), "Lunatic-faced", and/or "Queen of the War")? Judging by the musical taste you've shown so far, I would think you might like them, too (all-female Japanese Steampunk-styled Metal band). Have a nice time and keep on rockin'!

Sadly this was the last year of their part founder member Bass player left the band. The ladies tried to bring her back now a news bass player and latest song is out now.
