Your reaction speaks to itself, i had a similar reaction when i heard the song for the first time. Chopin never namned his etuds he constructed them as very difficult exercices on the piano. This one has been named Opus 10, etud nr 12 "The revolutionary etud" due to the fact Copin lived in exile banned from Poland by Russian influence after Warsaws fall after the julirevolution in 1830. The saying is that he was so influenced by the circumstances his family and friends lived under and the fact young polish soldiers were brutally slaughtered by russian troops. The hole opus is dedicated to another great classic composer Franz Liszt. You can hear the referens to this historic event in LOVEBITES Lyrics, and the fact that Miyako is a trained concert pianist is just another example of how fantastic they are. Love from Sweden.

I have known this fantastic band for several months and every day I am enchanted by their incredible musical talent. Miyako Watanabe (dark haired guitarist and pianist) is my the most favorite musician. She plays on guitars, piano, keyboards in this band. Miyako is one of the best musical artists of our time. I love Miho Rosana. She is a bass player. Unfortunately, she left the band in August 2021. The band has had a break since then. But the all girls are so beautiful and so incerdible talented. I highly recommend other amazing songs from this band. Fantastic band from Japan. I wish you all the best in 2022 :-).

Playing Chopin's "Revolutionary Etude" in the intro suggests that "Swan Song" is a requiem for those who fought to regain the country and died. Asami (vocal), who had been trained in classical ballet since the age of two, seems to have written the lyrics with the image of "Swan Lake". She is dancing a dying swan just before the end. "Swan Song" is a masterpiece that can only be produced by LOVEBITES.

lovebites, aldious, and bridear are the only ones that can be put out anywhere.

This performance is simply beyond epic. Lovebites are the absolute best live recorded bands I've ever seen. I've never actually seen them live. You have to include the sound engineers with this and most of their other live performances. Bloodstock was not sound engineered well. This was beyond perfect. Great reaction to my now favorite band ever.

Miyako's outro piano solo expresses the moment when a warrior who fought to protect him country dies by comparing it to a dying swan. It's a very sad and beautiful ending.

@@gham5586 Yes, that's correct. In the interview, Asami says that the outro piano solo is an image of a swan dying.🐺🤘 Furthermore, she said there is a story in old European folklore that swans don't sing while they are alive, but they do have a beautiful voice just before they die.

Great reaction. I’ve followed metal since, well since there was a thing called “metal”. These ladies are the most accomplished all round band I have ever seen and heard. Their talent is almost limitless. The songs are always uplifting, lyrically, and they so obviously enjoy what they do that it is refreshingly infectious. Honestly, I’d say they are the best metal band… ever. Seriously. And to top it all they are all really nice, down to earth people. They have a predominantly older fan base simply because that age group heard the best that this genre had to offer… and now have 5 beautiful women giving the genre an entirely new spin, and it’s breathtaking.

You have to love this band. They wear their femininity proudly in their white dresses and high heels and still smoke any other metal band LIVE by melting you face off and smashing your brain!! Here the blending of Romantic classic piano and Metal as only Miyako's savant brain could come up with. However, it is the fact she has band-mates who can perform this flawlessly LIVE that highlights the insanity of this band. Forget genre labels these women play whatever they want and do so to perfection. When the Goddesses play we mere mortals experience exhilaration like never before.

Wow, this is what I call a true reaction, this is exactly how I felt when I heard them the very first time back in 2017. It was instant love and have remained faithful to my beautiful girls, as the years progressed their music became intense, explosive, and phenomenal. I could see the emotional anguish in your eyes as you were just blown away by the greatest band in the world, don't get me wrong there are many other bands that are ok and good but nothing to the level of Lovebites. IMO, and I speak for myself in the most humble and honest way, the next guitarist at this level would be Hal-Ca of Asterism as she too is a shred monster that has no mercy on her guitar. Because it's an illegal download, no official video, so someone puts it up, then it gets removed, and the process starts over again, it's not up long enough to get views. their record label should release it as a MV video, so you don't have this issue.....by they way i am glad it's up..i don't won't it taken down, we need to see it.

Lovebites, like Band maid, Aldious and Gacharic spin are all very cool bands with so many brilliant musiciens.. I just don't understand why they are not in the main stream. Musically, there are not many bands out there today that can touch them IMHO. Best wishes

It's the combination of power and beauty that makes Lovebites so perfect. The top-level talent completes the perfect package. The songwriting is at the highest level. Lovebites is lighting in a bottle. They are gearing-up for 2022! Hopefully soon they will announce the new bass player. More songs to check out: "Frozen Serenade" and "Epilogue". ( I hope they will make an official MV for "Painkiller"! )

Many famous bands made their reputations on a single masterpiece. Lovebites have about a dozen that qualify, but I'd put this in the top 3. Background: Chopin (pronounced Show-pan) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France. He is considered one of the greatest classical composers of all time. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now one of the best metal guitarists in the world. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). All five members of the band are Jedi-level musicians, but I think Miyako is a once-in-a generation talent, a true savant. It also helps that she works fanatically to get better. She has been playing piano since she was 3. Only picked up the guitar at 18.

They can be a little overwhelming at times. Miyako, Kanami from BAND-MAID, and Yuko from Wagakki Band are all fantastic pianists who don't get to show it as often as their skill deserves. Also, shoutout to Haruna for having such incredible precision and endurance for every song. Same to Miho and her fingers!
