Thank you. Really, thank you. You are one of only……one reaction to this song that has given due consideration to Asami-san’s opening vocals. I’ve stood only feet away from her three times this year (and a fourth about 30 feet!) and I can tell you that she puts her very being into every song, but in moments like these she is utterly captivating. In the more forceful passages you can see by her face, her posture, her left hand, that she is giving her all. Yesterday in Yokohama she did so for just shy of two hours. At the 90 minute mark she sang Soldier Stands Solitarily, as powerfully as she sang We are the Resurrection right at the beginning. She’s the female Dio…a higher compliment it is not possible to give. It’s destiny that she shares his birthday.
