LOVEBITES new live LP (DVD/Blu-ray/CD) and also a new EP both will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will contain new songs and also a re-recording of the band’s debut „THE LOVEBITES EP“ for a limited edition. „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the live recording of last year‘s Tokyo concert during the Judgement Day tour. It features 7 live versions of songs from the „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“. And of course also the pre-releases „Rising“ and „We are the resurrection“, which was the opening track for this show.

I liked the version from Hamburg, Germany in March.2012 more than the studio version.
Seen this from the blu ray , now the video is out im loving this even more everytime i see u guys reacting to it , just 1 of those kinda simple fun ass band maid songs to get the crowd going n the maids cant help themselves either , not sure whos having more fun us or the maids

In my humble opinion , I think Nightwish went with Anette in 2007 because of all those years of Tarja n the operetic sound , they wanted to go in a different direction with Anettte , when Tarja was fired , Thomas knew of Floor because the band Floor was in After Forever n Nightwish were in many festivals togther , but Thomas didn`t want to ask Floor n mess up After forever , but in 2012 when they needed a replacment vocalist to complete the tour , the phone call was made , best move they ever did n as they say the rest is History .

I like the energy and drama in Floor's performance, but you hear extra instrumental layers in the studio version. Which isnt to say the more pared down live version is worse (it works also) I just like both in differemt ways.
If I would never have heard the version with Floor I would say: Yes, really nice, I like it. But compared to Floor Anettes voice - although sounding very good - is rather weak. Now I understand why Marko said when Floor became a member of Nightwish that he now can use his voice with full power. Obviously he had to hold back when singing together with Anette.

Agree. They're good in the live version but get drowned out the moment Empu's guitar riff kicks in. In the Studio version you can still hear them while he plays, which I think works better.
There is another version in December 2012 at Pepper`s club.
I don't know .. Floor definitly is the better singer as far as technicals go, but her rendition of this and some other songs just do nothing for me. Tarja can literally bring me close to tearing up with her performance in this song. While I appreciate Floor as an exceptional artist, I just can't flip the switch in my head to like Floor more. An old Nightwish fan here as well :)
