there is a term that we baseball fans in the states use for a player that can do everything called 'a five tool player'. he can hit for average , hit for power , catch , throw and run with great speed. this musically describes miyako perfectly. the 5 tool musician. she can play piano , guitar , write , sing and think 20 notes ahead of what she is playing. remarkable talent only possessed by a few.

Thrash metal has always been my preference, and Lovebites play thrash to perfection...But they have so many layers to their music. Empty Daydream has so much feeling and emotion it's incredible.

Empty Daydream is so good. I love it. I also love how they do the backing vocals here. You have still mostly seen their slower side so far. Well, relatively-speaking. Can't wait to see you get to something like Winds of Transylvania or Set the World on Fire.

She started with "Edge of the world" followed by "Frozen Serenade" and now this, i think she is on a good way. I remember my first song was "when destenys align", and i really loved the guitar solos of course, but at that time i was not soo into powermetal, more symphonic metal, and Asami didn't impressed me that much. But then somebody gave me the "E" songs, and yeah, since then i fell deeply in love with them 😍😍🤘🏼🤘🏼

I think, all you need is just to find the right song from Lovebites that really into your type.. it's a bit sensintive to tell, but my first song is "Rising", and it was a song that gave me hope to stay alive when I'm in the edge of my depression.. I just casually open my youtube, and the song just show up on my recommendation, and I clicked on it.. tbh, I've never expect that lyrics from a song can be so powerfull.. maybe I just watch it in the right place and in the right time, so it was naturally happen :) thank you for sharing your thought!👍🏻

What I love about this song and all songs composed by Miyako she infuses the classical element into all of her songs, this alone is what separates Lovebites from many bands out there and puts them on their own pedestal. They do call themselves the "Lone Wolf" of metal hence the Wolfpack.

You have just gotten a taste of Miyako's virtuosity on the piano, and also more of a sense of Lovebites' versatility. Now I can't wait to see your reaction to Swan Song. Re. the difference in pace between the vocal line and the instruments, they use that in a lot of their songs. I think it makes the songs sound extremely dramatic, with the metal energy level and Asami's emotional depth.

Drawing pictures of Lovebites, check out the band Destrose, Haruna and Miho were in that band together. I think you could get some inspiration to draw them from that time.

Miyako is a classically trained pianist. She started playing at 3 years of age. She's also the one doing the higher-pitched backing vocals.

Interesting breakdown. So you did Empty daydream, Frozen Serenade, Edge of the world and I saw in another comment that the next one will be Epilogue. Can't wait to see your face when you'll hear MDO, Set the world on fire, Thunder vengeance, Break the wall, Winds of Transylvania or The hammer of wrath it will be such a shock 🤣

No, it's Rachmaninoff riff, M. Jackson, Val Halen or others didn't invented anything, use the same round of notes. All the music came from classic music!

From France: It is surprising that everyone talks about the very beautiful introduction by Chopin of "Swan song" played by Miyako, but that almost no one picks up the no less beautiful reference to the end of Dvorak's "New World Symphony" that she interprets at the end of the piece... Curious... [Il est étonnant que tout le monde parle de la très belle introduction d'après Chopin de "Swan song" jouée par Miyako, mais que quasi personne ne relève la non moins belle référence au final de la "Symphonie du Nouveau Monde" de Dvorak qu'elle interprète à la fin du morceau... Curieux...]

@@gillesmurat7362 I'm not very familiar with anything Dvorak does however I am more aware of Chopin to me he has always been almost as spoken of as Back Beethoven Mozart and Tschaikowsky. Dvorak I never heard till you mentioned it

And you will find there the accents used by Miyako during the final coda on the piano... Enjoy! [Ce n'est pas grave.
