Feride, who lost her mother at a young age, is brought to Istanbul by her father, a soldier, to live with her grandmother. When her grandmother dies, Feride’s father enrolls her in Notre Dame de Sion French Boarding School, for her to receive a good education. Here, she is nicknamed "Çalıkuşu" because of her mischievous behavior and refusing to get down from the tree in the school garden. She spends her summer vacations with her aunts. Soon after, she also loses her father, and becomes and orphan.
Feride grows up to be a very beautiful young girl. Ever since she was little, she have had secret feelings for her aunt's son Kâmran, who is a few years older than her.

He did not cheated!! Because Feride has ended the relationship with him, so He cannot cheat if he is not in any relationship. So Azelya took advantage of the situation by getting him drunk and was dying to sleep with him. so her mission was accomplished!
This is another heartache of Feride that another woman seduce Kamran.
