Feride, who lost her mother at a young age, is brought to Istanbul by her father, a soldier, to live with her grandmother. When her grandmother dies, Feride’s father enrolls her in Notre Dame de Sion French Boarding School, for her to receive a good education. Here, she is nicknamed "Çalıkuşu" because of her mischievous behavior and refusing to get down from the tree in the school garden. She spends her summer vacations with her aunts. Soon after, she also loses her father, and becomes and orphan.
Feride grows up to be a very beautiful young girl. Ever since she was little, she have had secret feelings for her aunt's son Kâmran, who is a few years older than her.

The actor who plays Kamrans father, Mehmet Özgür, is so good. I remember the first time I saw him was in Magnificent Century as Shah sultans husband, such a disgusting man that made me hate him more and more. Yet here I am absolutely adoring him as Seyfettin, such a gentle and kind man.
I am watching this series for 2nd time,,,so interesting, especially feride and Kamran father role is outstanding

@@sofoniyasbrhanu3929 I like this drama Choong key full of family drama with suspense romance and comedy 😃 It's interesting and fun to watch because the leading man and woman are gorgeous and real life couple 👍 When they were shooting this series I 🤔 they already are in a relationship 😍 They have great chemistry and when they meet their 👁👁 are sparkling 😆

Feride have Math Geography and French literature exams Ama Kamran keeps on disturbing won't let her focus on her studies 😕 Yani 🤔 I'm not sure if Feride can graduate together with the whole class 😃
