Dionysus the greek god of wine, theatre, madness etc, The song is about being drunk on their art.

Suga/Agust D of BTS actually did a song with Woosung of the Rose on his album called "Snooze". It doesn't have a music video but if you look up BTS (방탄소년단) Agust D Ft. Ryuichi Sakamoto & WOOSUNG 'Snooze' MV you will find a well fanmade video.

If she likes '80s or throwback music, she should listen to, 'Dynamite' and 'Butter'. They're also two of their three songs that were all in English. The third one is, 'Permission to Dance'. She'll also love, 'Standing Next to You', it's pure 80's FUNK and a tribute to MJ. It's one of the member's most recent solo work, Jungkook, who's also the youngest member

I love this song especially cranked up in my car!! As awesome as this performance was - Oh how I wished you reacted the MMA 2019 version on this song. It was like BTS performed a mini concert at an award show. If you have time, watch the whole MMA 2019 BTS performance - it was one of the best things they ever put together 💜💜

Agreed, but don't only watch the Dionysys portion. Part of the beauty of that performance is the whole package and the increasing intensity over time. As for the language barrier - if you put "eng subs" in front of the song title and "live" in.your search terms, you can usually find a live performance that has had English subs added. Or, read the lyrics first (from doolset bangtan website, which gives great context), then watch the performance. If you continue to let the language barrier interfere, you will never appreciate BTS because you're essentially blocking yourself from that full enjoyment. I don't say that with any ill intention...just from my own experience. I'm an 80's rock music OG fan myself, and I absolutely LOVE BTS. There are a lot of us "80s kids" who approached BTS music with an open mind and who have grown to be enormous fans of both them and their music. Also, there are a lot of people who are fans of other groups who deny the impact of BTS worldwide. Their denial doesn't make it true. There is NO arguing with the fact that no other band has ever reached the level that BTS has - not previously, and not now - no matter what the fans of those other bands want you to believe. Those are just the facts.

@@OT7_DopeOldARMY totally agree with you. Their songs are so impactful, full of meaning and so many backdrop meanings behind their songs. The songs truly impact you if you know the meaning behind it. I usually find the videos with the subtitles below. Sometimes I listen to the song first then go back to read the meaning behind it in English. That’s why BTS is so loved -their songs deal with everyday problems that they went thru then Army can relate to. I’m so glad I found them way back in Idol era.

BTS did introduce "most of the world" to Korean and other Asian acts. You may not like them but you cannot deny this FACT. So, I don't think you said anything out of the ordinary and I don't think you need to apoligize. With regards to their music, there is just so much variety, I'm sure you will find something of your liking too. I would suggest checking out J-Hope's More and Arson Suga's Snooze (featuring Woosung of the Rose) RM's Still Life JK's Standing Next to you (which also pays homage to Michael Jackson) BTS's Make it Right, Louder than Bombs, Daaeng, Ugh! Have a good day!

Hi my dears, how are you? Entering the BTS context is quite complex the first time. Fans sometimes seem hostile but it's an armor we develop over time through prejudice and disrespect with them, don't feel pressured by it. BTS is not just music, it is a story and context that must be worked on calmly so that you understand why they are so big. I suggest watching the "Guide to BTS members the bangtan 7" to Taylor. This way they will become familiar with the group. It's long, but I'm sure a good part of the BTS audience will watch it with you. Thank you for continuing to react our boys 💜

Loveeee that u wanna know the lyrics but when a video doesn’t have captions I recommend u watch the video and read the lyrics later as one, the problem u had in this video of not being able to keep up but also because the music videos or the live performances are what were here to see yalls reaction to, the cinematography the choreo the outfits of course the lyrics too but you can look at those after watching the vid!

For me, being a musician and lyricist, the lyrics are the most important part of songs. I need to know what they're saying, and if I agree and can relate to it. So, that is why my main focus is there. However, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the other factors involved; musical composition, and (in videos) clothes and cinematography. Hopefully, that gives you some insight as to where I'm coming from. - Angie 🤘🏻🎶🖤

@@Savage-Reactions I understand it but missing most of the video to read the lyrics vs reading the lyrics after reacting to the video is better and I think for the audience as well because we want to see both of your reactions to the choreo and the video itself and then the lyrics after the video is done. It's a win-win for both you and the viewers.

@@Savage-Reactions I agree w Tre! Wanting to understand the lyrics is a must ofc but missing the video to read the lyrics you could read afterwards just doesn’t make sense to me. Enjoy the video and visuals first and then read the lyrics after! Or you can read them beforehand if you want to go into the vid with context but either way, it’s a win win

I personally think that with videos that don't have captions ESPECIALLY BTS, you shpould definitely focus on the video during the reaction because the choreogrphy with the song and everything is really amazing and you're just missing out on it honestly. Then after the video you read the lyrics.

No need to apologize … some fandoms get really mad that their favorite artist are not considered global the way BTS is. BTS is 3rd generation of kpop and they have been so huge that no other kpop grp has surpassed them (not even 1st gen or 2nd gen). You can react to Boracity Magazine BTS paved the way and u will see why it’s considered that BtS took kpop global. Even Psy was a one hit wonder which did not paved the way for no one because he was a joke or a fluke.

Sorry for I'm here being late. but I've got similar perspective with lyrics. As a Korean, BTS got high quality lyrics. So im truly recommend you guys keep checking BTS. So How about this? First, like now, check MV or live stages. and then, checking lyrics on 'doolset'. This page provides the most accurate version of the BTS's lyrics. There are lyric videos on KZread, but many translations are erroneous, and do not provide enough context. The expressions in Korean are very different from in English, so the expressions of the lyrics, especially those written by the group's rappers, are not properly conveyed by genius or KZread videos. For example, here in Dionysus, drunk on 'art' but art is sound 'Ye-sool' in Korean. and 'sool' is alcohol. that kinda rhyming or wordplay, double meanings are omitted in other sources. If you take lyrics out of BTS's music, you lose a lot. Especially if you're a listener who values lyrics, I think you should check out a good version of the lyrics translation. Still, if you want to check the music and lyrics at the same time in the simplest way, check out the captioned video or lyric videos/
