I hear you mate. I was born in 75 and this movie was a big influence to me as a kid in little old England. As an adult I actually bought a vinyl imported copy from Canada! Still have the vinyl on display in my games room. When people come over they point to it and say ‘what’s that’ and I say ‘It’s only the greatest 80’s movie u never saw’ 🎸👍😄

We had the best fucking movies in the 80's...LOVED Tuff Turf! Marianne Faithful singing the title theme was just the icing on the cake. Would give anything to go back to the 80's.

85-95 were the greatest time to be alive imo. The 2020’s, are a total dopamine sensory over load. Too many cell phone zombies, shitty music, fashion, lifeless commercials, movies alone have become total throwaways. If I could blast back I’d go 87-92

I was obsessed with this movie growing up. I grew up with this movie and instantly loved it and the music. Started my love for RDJ with Tuff Turf. They just don’t make movies like this anymore.

They filmed parts of this movie 5 minutes from my house in highland park, ca. So you can just imagine how geeked out I was when I watched the movie and realized that liquor store scene I passed by hundreds of times.

This movie and soundtrack was the bomb. I had it on cassette tape back in 1985 when it came out. The 80's rocked!

I was watching this movie last I was 12 years old when this came out its good music and the movie was awesome thanks for the memories 👍

I can at least thank my brother for making me aware of this awesome flick growing up. Hell we even get RDJ drumming for Jim Carroll!? Just an underrated classic. Oh, and despite it not even being Spader singing, even that piano track at the rich members club works for me. 👌

I do love the soundtrack, and growing up I loved this movie. I have watched it now as an adult, and it is entertaining, but movies have come a long way since these movies of ours. The action is lame and Frankie's acting is horrible. I love the nostalgia of it all and it gives good vibes PERIOD!! The 80s was an amazing time to be a child and early teen. The world was on the brink of becoming a hell hole, but not yet. We had it good. I walk through malls that are still open these days, since most of them have become ghost towns, and think of how cool it was to go to the mall in the 80s. Not now 😞
