Beautiful couple!! Love them individually as artists for years in various roles on tv and in movies. I never knew they were married and parents together. Nice to know they have managed to maintain their 20 plus years without their fans knowing their private stuff. Very refreshing! ❤️

This was absolutely powerful! I wish I could've provided multiple likes. So many valid points: 1. Recognize that there are males who are not striving to be better either because they don't want to or don't know to. Be cautious of the "ride or die" notion ladies. Stand by your m-a-n. 2. Pain births anger. Whatever pain we experience must be addressed in order to grow to who we need to be. 3. Self-reflection is key for growth/improvement. 4. A man is reliable--I loved that Salli recognized and credited her husband for bringing this into their relationship. She even saw that his good leadership moved her to follow by speaking to him in a kinder manner. 5. We can't be inauthentic and expect an authentic relationship. 6. We have to allow each other to grow and not hold on to the mistakes made in the past. That doesn't mean ignore patterns, just allow growth. If it's meant to be, you'll grow together.

This was really good! Sally I love how you mentioned you were being inauthentic trying to please your man! Because I believe most of us do this and not even realize we’re doing it! Thank you for this!

Loved what he said as a man. We don’t hear that enough. Young black inner city youth don’t hear that enough.

Great compassionate segment! ! The love and respect this married couple have for one another is an example of what can be achieved together ‘for better or for worse’. Love both analogies Iyanla spoke Men think in headlines; women think in fine details Man’s mind is like the dashboard of a car; woman’s mind is like the dashboard of an airplane ( especially as I am a student pilot). Thank you all for the relationship gems. So appreciated and needed.
