Michael Jai White is Vietnam vet, CIA officer, and Kung Fu master, Black Dynamite. Salli Richardson is Black Power activist Gloria Gray. And together, they're out to kick crime's butt in "Black Dynamite," a hilarious, spot-on homage/spoof to the action films of the Black Film Explosion of the 1970s.
Directed by Scott Sanders from a screenplay by Sanders, Michael Jai White, and Byron Minns.
The film co-stars Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley, Arsenio Hall, & Obba Babatundé.
"Black Dynamite" later became an animated series on Cartoon Network.
