Chiffonade is a slicing technique in which leafy green veggies such as basil, spinach, sorrel, Swiss chard, etc are cut into long, thin strips. You do this by stacking leaves on top of each other, then rolling them tightly, then slicing the leaves perpendicular to the roll.

Looks good..cherry tomatoes would kick the beautiful colors up a notch .......Paula should give her cat the cob after cutting the corn off....they love the milk from the cob left behind!!!

Kitties also will eat a small piece of raw corn. The milk is very sweet when raw. My kitty cat holds down one end of the small cob with his paw & chows down. He's a hoot to watch!!!

Looks tasty. Corn and ripe garden tomatoes make a great salad too! I'm thinking if you dress the salad early, the asparagus will not stay that beautiful bright green, same for the basil. Asparagus turns yellowish and the basil darkens. 🤔

I put this recipe on my must try list! Love the ingredients. My TIP is; put the cut red onions in a little bowl of cold water and let sit for a few minutes. This removes that pungent smell/taste. Love the angel food pan tip. Appreciate all your awesome recipes, Miss Paula.

Tip - when you are doing any peeling wether it is carrot or potato or squash or whatever vegetable it might be you can Saran Wrap your cutting board and do it straight over that. When you are completely finished (prep all the peeling in all the recipes at the same time) just undo the Saran Wrap and gather it together to toss everything in the trash snd you have a perfectly clean cutting board to work with your items and not get the peel all stuck in with them. Plus, the clean up is just so much easier.
