Sweet Paula, I’m convinced you’re just a miracle!!! With God’s blessings and your refusal to quit and work hard you’ve conquered so so much. I’m so glad you are here on YT!!! Years ago when my four children were so young, your show came on and I was at home and didn’t feel so lonesome anymore!! (My hubby and I lived over 500 miles from any family.)

That looks amazing. And I will try pecans on it. I usually put walnuts in my brownies but the pecans does sound good, especially caramelized. Thanks for the great video Paula

Well this looks just delicious, I am a caramel crazy person. I also have to tell you that I finally made your vanilla at the beginning of the year so I’ve been using it now and I’m just so thrilled I get such a kick when I open up my cute little bottle and I made sure to make enough to send my mom and my daughter and they are loving it also so thank you for that. Lastly I found that milk chocolate brownie mix is so much better it’s less decadent but I can eat a whole brownie without getting sick. Brownies usually get my stomach not feeling too good but the milk chocolate ones are just so good. My husband says he likes them better too. It might be something you want to try.

YUMMO💗!!! Just an FYI if anyone has an Aldi’s around them, they have the BEST boxed brownie mix out there. You may make it plain or do any add in ingredients you desire(I add a little of my mom’s leftover brewed coffee to my batter)!

I have seen some new type brownie pans where each piece is cooked individually so all can be chewy. I have never used one, so can't vouch for how they do.

Ooh, this topping would be good with coconut in it, too, kind of like a German Chocolate frosting.

There wasn't a brownie baked that my mother didn't like! Her and I both love brownies anyway you fix them. Plain, with icing, with nuts, with caramel and nuts, I've had them with fudge on top! Oh and is that ever good! So to answer your question I love brownies anyway you want to fix them and serve them I'll eat them! My mother's gone to heaven now I hope she's eating all the brownies up in heaven she could ever want, that was one of her favorite desserts!

Not to be negative or anything...but one thing by watching these Paula Deen videos...I will never use box anything...it is only from scratch. Regarding the spray...I only will now do butter and flour, or lard. I did get some really great habits...thank you. I know, Theresa is a great prepper. I'd give her a raise. Who wouldn't like caramelized brownies...brown sugar and butter?

How do you in harden brown sugar? I’ve got a container with brown sugar that’s hard as a brick.

Put your sugar in a freezer bag, or microwave safe bowl and zap it for 15-20 seconds in microwave. Or, you can place a slice of bread in with your sugar, and after a day or two, your sugar should be softened. Remove bread or it will mold.

Duncan Hines has changed almost all their mixes for brownies and cakes for not tasty any more. Betty Crocker has the chocolate syrup to mix in. Switched over to Ghiradelli Mix.

Yes why they don't wait 10 minutes after a dish comes out of the oven. is beyond me. The food does not set up when it steaming hot.
