Glad to see further development of the Loupedeck+ and added support for PS. I think the only limitation now in PS is having to use the mouse still. The example adjusting the curve points, I find it way faster to just use the mouse since its already in hand to make the adjustments. But keep up the good work.

Really useful video, lots of tips and advice. However I can’t fine my Photoshop actions in the Loupedeck configuration options - how did you get yours into Loupedeck ? Also, it would be useful to have a Return and Escape config option, as in Lightroom config. (That is before expecting a brush hardness/softness control !)

Nice. Is there a full premiere pro integration? Also a new label skin would be nice so the button says actually what it does. Or even better: put a small e-ink screen on all the buttons, so they show their function based on the application.

Loupedeck is there any way I can try this before I buy? (I live in Estonia) Your website says no returns on used items. I do not want to pay $250 on something I can't test before. There are a lot of negative reviews and suspicious positive reviews out there so it is hard to make up my mind before actually trying it myself.

Adam Illingworth You can try buying from a EU reseller that is forced by the EU law to accept your return within 14 days even after you have tested it. The idea of Loupedeck is interesting, but it forces you to still rely on Lightroom interface, because you don't get any feedback from the knobs (they turn infinitely). I would rather have motorized dials with limits so that I would always know the values from the position of the knobs on Loupedeck. Conveniently, such setup could work in absolute mode, so that switching to a next photo would automatically apply the already set absolute adjustments. Conversely, the motors would turn the dials to represent the current adjustments from Lightroom if you choose to work in that mode. An LCD with live histogram preview would'n hurt as well. Imagine you have to readjust a volume knob every time you change a song - that's how Loupdeck works right now - in arbitrary, relative mode. If that's okay for you and you want a beginners tool that makes you look away from the screen and forces you to move your hands a lot, by all means you won't regret the purchase. Alternatively, for a fraction of Loupedeck's price, you can get a gaming MMO mouse that you can configure for anything you want - Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, games, web browser etc. The only caveat is you need to be right-handed and learn every button by heart.

Loupedeck software couldn’t detect any new action that I created. The only action available for me are default action from photoshop. So my workaround is by editing the default photoshop action with my own action and keep the action name as it is from photoshop (e.g vignette action - contain my own action workflow of frequency separation)

I saw you guys ar Photokina asking about Photoshop integration. Unfortunately, without a completely new hardware I don't see how this can be useful in professional Photoshop workflow. The lady in the video is an absolute amateur and the Loupedeck is just a drag to use. It wouldn't fit with a large Wacom tablet and a qwerty keyboard on a desk. Note, the larger the spaces in-between the keys, the longer it takes to reach them. The new hardware would need to be very compact and designed for "blind" one-handed use. Gaming keyboards are the way to go for now, but obviosly they could be improved both in hardware and software.

Initially Loupedeck+ has been designed for Adobe Lightroom -type of editing software. However we received so much feedback from our current users who use Lightroom and Photoshop in their workflow that we decided to go ahead with the integration. So the integration is most useful for photographers who bounce between Lightroom and Photoshop during their workflow. On the left hand you can use layer controlling, switch between tools, and use keyboard modifiers without looking and with your right hand you can use a mouse or a pen at the same time, making the basic workflow easier and faster.

Watching you looking at the screen tells me that you maybe in need of some glasses. If you can't read the numbers on a 27" screen.... Also, if this speeds up your workflow, I will eat a broom. Your speed shown in the video while talking is super slow. But that's a common problem that Photographers aren't the best color grader & retouchers and are not so much green with this applications like a graphics designer. Loupedeck is nice, but I'm not paying 250$ to find out it's nothing for me. I can imagine Loupedeck for Photoshop Camera Raw, but for the rest of Photoshop, it will be in my workflows way. Photoshop has so many tools that are needing a mouse. On the other hand, for the RAW manipulating tools it's super quick, I guess. Anyways, no offence here from my side, just my thoughts. And get a optometric appointment, most of the time people don't know they have a problem. And if you have a little seeing issue, it could become a huge one, when not being corrected, and continue working in front of the screen for a living.

Loupedeck I don’t know this woman and I’m certain that’s she’s probably a great person as many people are, but as someone who does this for a living this tutorial does absolutely nothing to show me the full potential of your tool. I’ve been on the fence about adding this to my workflow, largely because of the price, but also because content like this doesn’t leave me feeling that you’re 100% serious about developing a product with supporting content for a professional audience. There’s honestly something sort of crass about splicing an attractive woman in a sea of semi-ambient “early morning on the playa” tech house when she’s not using the software or tool to a professional standard. Retouching is complicated work and if you expect me to disrupt my workflow to learn and incorporate your product you’re going to have to do better than this.

First thing is: you could have chosen a decent photo, not a crapy photo shot wih not any focus or texture details for a frequency separation. What a waste of "Paris model show" where you even an invited photographer? Or simply managed to smugle in with a fake journalist id?. Secondly: you invested more time in seting up your studio and famera gear in the frame, but cero technical manage and presentation of the editing tool. Rather than looking profesional, you look so entrepreneur.
