Great vid, thanks. I just got mine this week & it certainly helps with getting more creative. I TOTALLY agree with you about the clicky colour wheels..! I was concerned that I had a faulty one at first & was also put off using them, especially when other people could hear me. I'd love to see the next version make this quiet. Apart from that... Loving it. I'm even going back on old images to see what I can do.

I got the ”Loupedeck Live” and just recently bought the Loupedeck +. But I must admit that it is a bit too limited. Color adjustments do not work in most cases and personally I stay away from all rental sw like Adobe. Would love to see FULL implementations for ScreenFlow, Affinity Photo and Final Cut Pro all for Macintosh (of course). Then I’ll really use it and recommend it.

1:10 Plug it in, install the driver and off you go... I wish. It "bricked" my LR installation and I wasted an hour reinstalling, looking for a patch and searching through support threads to get it to work. Finally got it going, but it was definitely not plug and play! HOPEFULLY they've fixed whatever bug I encountered.

I use a Wacom intros - why would you go for a loopdeck which does not allow you to draw with an adjustment brush or draw the graduated filters as opposed to a wacom tablet? Does anyone use both?

Enjoyable Video Joe, I have had mine for a few months still getting use to it all, and definitely not using it to it's full potential yet! I did briefly think about getting the newer CT version but could not justify price difference. Only really used in Lightroom so far wanting to try in Photoshop. It has speeded things up and glad I bought it, enjoy.

Glad to hear your enjoying it as well! I'm intrigued by the CT as well, but more so for streaming and other quick controls. I think this version is potentially much better suited towards adjusting images in Lightroom/Premiere for me.

Does anyone know what’s the name of the light bar above the monitor? and also what MacBook is he using

Great video - so much potential especially while processing video clips. Curious though. When it comes to just image processing how would you compare this to something like a Wacom tablet?

Thanks! Personally, I sold my last Wacom tablet in 2016 and haven't looked back. Especially since owning my iPad Pro with Apple pencil, for any drawing needs I may have. As for Lightroom with sliders for adjustments, I'd always choose a mouse over a pen as an input device. With this Loupedeck being a great step above the mouse, when at my desk.

Is that light bar the Benq?

Been using it for a year and absolutely love it for my photos and videos.

After buying the LD+ over two years ago, I finally gave up on it as the "beta" software for Capture One is still guess what...yep... beta. It sits brand new in it's box...I should try and sell it on eBay

Btw, have you decided on the X100V or the X-Pro3? Wanna hear your thoughts!

Haha! Still haven't made a decision on _if_ I'm going to get a new one yet, let alone which one! If I'm honest though, I see myself more with an X-Pro3 than I do the X100V, but will have to wait until I have some trips planned to make proper use of it.

The Loupedeck+ is a great bit of kit

I wish you would have shown a larger picture so when you change the colors we could have seen it.

I still have this version but i am interested in the smaller CT version for editing quick or adjustments.

Same. I travel for work, so the full keyboard-sized device is pretty prohibitive, but no complaints as far as the home office.

I was a backer of the original Loupedeck. I was very disheartened when they announced the Loupedeck+ only a short time after the first which added functionality which could and SHOULD have been given to the original in a software update. In the space of a year my original one became worthless to the point where when I wanted to trade it in against the plus model I was told they couldn't give me a viable offer.

Oh no, that's not a great start at all! From my research, the biggest improvements they made were with the hardware quality. I wasn't aware of software incompatibilities. Unfortunately it's common to see 1st gen products have a significantly shorter life than later generations, as they often have to weigh up the balance of how much demand there will be, against their financial investment into the product. It can simultaneously be both good _and_ bad for the end consumer.

How much cost?

Cheers! I've made a few Lightroom editing tutorials in the past, but this is actually something I want to do more of in livestreams. I've recently got a new setup that I've been putting to good use on my Adobe Live shows, but keen to do over on this channel as well.

That's interesting. I sold my last Wacom in 2016 and have never looked back. Even more so since having the iPad Pro with Pencil.
