Greatest upset and NCAA tournament game of all time. Baylor was too cocky...Griner was even tweeting during halftime of previous games about how many dunks she would have. Well, she got zero dunks in the biggest game of her life, and got outclassed and outhustled by the entire Louisville team. Coach Mulkey probably should have made sure Griner was paying attention during her halftime speeches instead of checking her twitter pages. Well, they both paid the price for their arrogance at the end of this one. Great team effort and disciplined game by Louisville; a good team can always beat one superstar!

I remember thinking something like that when I was watching this game back when it happened. It definitely seemed like Baylor thought they could show up and Louisville would fold. But, Baylor was so sloppy, so undisciplined and Louisville executed its game plan to perfection, and flat out earned this win. Also, as an aside, whatever happened to Shoni Schimmel? She's only 28, had a couple of good WNBA seasons (was an all-star twice), and now she's just straight up gone....Kinda interesting that a player that that's young that is clearly talented is out of the league that fast. Just wild.

It's funny everyone saying if they call the game tighter Baylor would have won and 5 Louisville players had 4 fouls and two fouled out and Louisville didn't even make the bonus in the second half until 30 seconds left you got out coached and outplayed 😂😂

The game plan was played to perfection But Walls almost took it away from them but Reed saved his ass. I was wondering if someone would load this game here as I watched it several times on espn3 before it stopped on there ,, thanks again.

Baylor's defense was completely UNDISCIPLINED and PATHETIC in this game. In addition, Griner showed NO fight to dominate the BIGGEST game of their season. Mulkey didn't try to switch on the perimeter screens and the end result was Louisville shooting 16-25 on mostly uncontested 3 point shots. Baylor deserved to lose this game.

Real talk the refs were letting them beat up Griner. If they would have called the game a little tighter The Cards would have been in trouble. The Cards did a good job of taking advantage of the refs letting them play.

As the saying goes, "Any team on a given day..." If you are a fan of either team you can explain the outcome. L'Ville shot 16-25 3s (Shoni was 5-8). Against UConn in the NC, which they lost 93-60, they shot 5-23 (Shoni was 1-8). That's frequently the case in today's basketball.

Anyone saying Baylor got cheated must not be able to add. It wouldn't have mattered how may foul shots you got, 3 points is still more than 2. Considering Baylor wasn't even completing their 2 point shot attempts they still would have lost. How about you learn to play defense. How does a team even get 25 3 point shot attempts up? Frankly, Kim Mulkey coaches her teams to be one dimensional. When they had Griner that's where the offense went. The year after it was all dumped on Odyssey. Now its all going through Nina Davis. As long as she keeps trying to make basketball a one vs five sport they will always fall short. The most successful teams in WBB right now ie UConn and ND typically spread the floor, play great defense, have a high assist to turn over ratio and have CONSISTANT multiple contributions on the offense end. Louisville just exposed what everyone knew... no Griner, no Baylor.
