Kyle: you have no idea how loud I shouted “yeah!” when i saw you released another geographic profile, especially on one of my favorite states. Please dude, keep doing what you’re doing. It’s crack to me and folks like me who like to discover as much as possible of each American state, whether I’ve been there or not. And to many of the states I haven’t been, your vids make me feel like I’ve explored the entire state. That is seriously beautiful. I have much to owe to you for that. Keep on rockin’.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬ ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭ God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 🕊💞

I am not even american. I have never lived in the US. I have only been to east coast states, and apart from Connecticut I have never been in a state for more than a week or two. Yet Louisiana and New Orleans have always been my favorite american state and city for some reason. They have such an interesting history and culture when compared to the rest of the country. It´s kind of sad to see Louisiana loosing its relevancy. If the US had good city planning and invested in large engineering projects New Orleans could easily be America´s largest city.

Things you could have mentioned about Shreveport/Bossier: - Has the state's oldest college/university in Centenary College of Louisiana which is also the oldest college west of the Mississippi - Despite being in the far corner of the state, it hosts the Louisiana State Fair each year - During Reconstruction, the NW parishes attempted to secede to Texas. And if not for an untimely outbreak of yellow fever, it might have succeeded. - In the early 20th century, many musicians including Elvis got their start on The Louisiana Hayride, a production held by local radio station KWKH.

I was born in Alexandria, right in the middle of the state My father's ancestors came straight from France and settled in Avoyalles parish. My mother's side of the family was from North and West/Central LA, so I have relatives in both halves of the state. Two very different cultures with really different kinds of food, so I had the best of both worlds. Back in the '70's me my brother and friends used to hang out at a bar called Dirty Pierre's on Chime St. in Baton Rouge. Those days are gone now, but it was fun while it lasted! Good video, Kyle. Even though I've never been to New Orleans, or Louisiana in general, it's still one of my favorite cities, and the state is one of my favorites of all. I'm not even entirely sure why. Geography l and architecture mostly, but yeah.

That was excellent. I have traveled to Louisiana four times. I was either bass fishing or touring around in Cajun country. I love the food and the people have great hospitality. Geoux Tigers!

The first few of these I did were much shorter videos with less detail. I was worried that 20+ minute videos would put people off. But after a lot of input from viewers I learned that people were ok with longer videos in this series.

Unfortunately, since I haven't been there I won't be able to cover Alaska. I try to keep my videos to be about places that I've been to in the past 10 years and will only mention other places if it's in a more general sense.

You mention no National Parks but the NPS sites in the state are really neat, especially Jean Lafitte, one of the historical preserve parks. Would also recommend Poverty Point, one of the few remaining sites of lower Mississippi First Nations mound building.

Got family deep down the Bayou in Houma. I love Louisiana, it's just such a comfy gritty place. If you're ever in Baton Rouge, make sure to stop by Bellue's for some of the best authentic Cajun food in the country at rock bottom prices, served by one of the sweetest old school Cajun souls to walk this earth, Wirt Bellue.

I worked in Houston for six years. Many of the employees in our office were from Louisiana (mostly the Lafayette area). Really nice people! Enjoyed their friendship. On an unrelated topic, I heard at one point many years ago that the highest point in Louisiana (mentioned in this video) was so heavily wooded that you could not tell that it was the most "elevated" spot int this state.

Very good video! Iberia Parish is also a part of Lafayette metro area. But for some reason when you Google search it you have to go on to the map for it to show. Because at first it only shows Lafayette-Vermilion metro area I don't know why maybe that's what it was 100 years ago
