Join us for a day of Louisiana inshore fishing as we target redfish and giant black drum! We went out in South Louisiana inshore fishing with the boys from Southern Exposure fishing charters and absolutely put a hurting on the inshore fish. How do you guys pick your days to go offshore out of Venice? You look for 1 foot swells or what. Also how far do you guys run usually. I’ve got a similar set up and was wondering. Thanks

Yeah man 1 to 2 footers at a low periodicity. With minimal wind. Hardest part is knowing when to turn around and call it. Usually by the time you hit the mississippi you can have a pretty good idea on what its gonna look like out there.

@@DownRiverOutdoors_ how far you guys run out for red snaps and ajs? you guys only go out of venice or do you ever do grand Isle or fourchon
That’s why they need to change the limit and put a per boat cap on reds. Y’all don’t know how good you got it in Louisiana till it’s gone and that’s what’s gonna happen
