Great video 😀 love both 😍 I have the classic speedy 30 in Damier Ebene and love that look❤️ but I’m thinking of selling it and buying a bandouliere instead. It’s just so practical 😀

Thanks for all the information! Love both your bags, however there’s a special place in my heart for the monogram speedy ❤ I agree that going to the Louis Vuitton store is definitely a fun experience at least once in your lifetime.

I love the double zip. I carry my bags on my left side so to have the monogram upright and on the outside the zipper pull is at the back. This means I have to open the zip all the way. The double zip means I can move the tabs to the front. I think LV DE is classic as it was the original print. I believe the monogram came after the DE. Great video!

You are right about the DE being the original trademark. It was introduced in 1888 before the monogram was.

I have 3 speedy bags and love them all. I have the monogram in 25 (which is 30years old) and the 30 in monogram (which is 21 years old) and the DE Bandolier which was born in 2014. I have a hybrid like you with the puffy chaps and no zipper pocket inside. I love my speedy and will never part with them. I did get a NeverFull in DE but I think I'm gonna sell it because EVERYONE has them, lol!!! I enjoyed your video, very informative!!

Just a quick question, I know you said you choose the bandouliere over just the speedy but in terms of the print/ leather would you get the bandouliere in monogram or stay with the damier ebene if you could change it or get another? And if it’s damier ebene because you already have the monogram, what if you only had one? Basically if you could only have one speedy would it be a bandouliere monogram, damier ebene, or possibly the damier azur? I just purchased the Palm Springs mini and I love it, it is monogram with dark straps so I do not have to worry about the changing color of the leather. I am now looking for an everyday work bag which I have decided to get a speedy bandouliere 30 but I am not sure on the print.

Hi! Congrats on your bags. I have the same Palm Springs mini as well and love it! Since that is in monogram, I would suggest the Ebene in the speedy B. The Ebene canvas is so classic and classy that I prefer that for a work bag. It is also more understated in my opinion, in addition to being carefree! Thanks so much for watching 🥰

FYI the checkerboard pattern actually came first, then the monogram.

This was a super good video!! I'm really excited about the Speedy 30 DE 😍 Do you know that does Macbook Air 13' fits inside? I would use the bag to school etc. so the laptop needs to fit 😩

I have a speedy 30 & 35. I have a 13” MacBook Pro and it does not fit in my 30 but I am able to get it to lay flat in my 35. The opening in the 30 is very small and tight. I agree that the neverfull is better for school. Hope that helps!

Did you know it was actually the Damier Ebene speedy 30( first called Damier Canvas) that was first in 1888. The LV monogram was second in the speedy.

I just purchased a speedy at the Louis Vuitton store and I went looking for a date code and they are no longer printing date codes on bags. I am not sure when that started but they said they no longer do that. I was surprised.

I bought a Neverfull MM in Feb 2021 and it doesn’t have a date code either.

I agree with you pre loved are very expensive you really are not getting a bargain just buy from LV I love both of your Speedy 30 they looks good on you I own both and they are beautiful thanks for sharing

I love speedy 30 but girl has got bills lol , a friend at my work place introduced slaybags to me and i googled ,saw good reviews about the quality of the bags so i purchased the damier azur mm from there and omg i love it , the quality is almost like the real and it came with card and receipt as well . I am happy hopefully i can get the real deal some day .

No disrespect but I don’t understand buying counterfeits. I bought a speedy yesterday and put it on my credit card, I’ll have to pay it off but that’s what I have to do. I bought a givenchy soft leather antigona earlier this year and paid it off after 6 months. I’d rather buy something and then pay it off while also boosting my credit then spending a lot for a counterfeit that likely was made in a sweatshop.

Hi! I basically didn’t use the bag all that much, which kept the vachetta light. I did not do anything to treat the vachetta. I store the bag in my closet in the dust bag and it has held up well! Thanks so much for watching 🥰

Hi! It did patina some, but since I did not use it much and stored it well, the vachetta remained pretty light. The same is true for some of my other vachetta bags. Thanks for watching 🥰
