I have both bags as well, and I can tell you the Dooney and Bourke is made with more quality than the Louis Vuitton. It surprised me myself it’s just a better constructed bag.

Thanks for the comparison, I do love videos like this. Love both bags, but just prefer the Florentine for its looks. As for the zipper, I think you're absolutely right that the LV is more practical. Maybe you'd enjoy DB's domed buckle satchel, because it looks similar to the slouching satchels, but has a wider opening, more like the LV.

I have this D&B same color in size lrg. I have a speedy 35 in mono I like them both for different reasons. Choosing one wld be hard. I feel any bag over 200 shld have feet. Thats the one thing I hate about LV u pay all that money but get no feet. Just subbed

I just bought my first Florentine bag in natural. I really like it! I have lots of LV bags. I treated the Florentine with the apple guard spray to protect from water marks. Thanks for the video!

Dooney is beautiful bag ,it is heavy because is a fully leather bag.

I’ve never seen the finish on Dooney Florentine hardware chipping off in chunks. They did have a bad run some years ago where it did sort of…tarnish?, but other than that not so much. I do think the hardware adds a lot to the weight, though

Yes!!!! I had 8 large ones that I sold because I NEVER used them but kept them because they were beautiful. So much quality leather makes it so heavy. I have 2 regular ones left but if I were to get one again, I would get the mini size
