I am a seller on Ebay. Once you receive an item you have 14 days to return your item . E bay has checks and balances so if you where sold a fake E bay would refund your money . If a seller sells a fake product they won't be selling on E bay . E bay checks on the seller in several areas . The seller has to meet certain criteria. Selling a fake as real will get the seller off of E bay and the consumer would be refunded . I work very hard to make sure what I sell is of excellent condition at a great price . My feeling is , The customer is always right .

Carolyn Sullivan Sadly, they do not remove the sellers they give them warnings. I was sold many counterfeit items last year whilst searching for specific pieces. Then I came across a seller called iloveskatenite who sells authentic items from her own collection and I buy from her. So far all of my LV items from her have been confirmed as genuine buy LV and heat stamped.

You are not alone...this happen to me as well. I will only buy from the LV store now. It's just not worth the trouble and worry to me. You get what you pay for. It's so sad that people take advantage. Thanks for sharing

Ebay can be soo scary unfortunately. I hate sellers who use pictures of real items then seen you a fake, deplorable ! Glad you can get your money back with paypal. People have a lot of nerve 1

I just experience the same situation 😩 on Poshmark got the wallet yesterday, and is a fake!!! the seller swears up and down is real, is so frustrating what made me suspicious was the canvas comparing the canvas against my authentic neverfull the canvas looks so different thicker grainy.

Fake ones starting to look really authentic because counterfeiters gets so much info about the real ones on the net. If you go to an LV store and bring a fake item for them to check they will just say it's not an LV. They wont say why and tell you the difference. And they dont discuss it for a reason. And that is to prevent counterfeiters from knowing how to copy. 🙂 Just saying

go to fashionphile, they have layaway, 100% guaranteed authentic or your money back, it can be kinda expensive but just wait until the item you like goes on sale, they do up to 30% off.

Wow!! I ALWAYS ask for the date code before I buy anything and then I google the code. Usually the fake code is a generic code for all fakes. I hate it when this happens to people, I hope you managed to get your money back? xxx

Thanks for posting this topic. Your researched has help me spot my authentic Sarah finding the serial date. I also learned today after three years of buying a wallet off EBay and trying to sell it recently That my LV old wallet was a fake I purchased some years ago. Thanks again I wish I would of did my research now I want to message the seller even though it's been some years and Thank them for selling me counterfeit items in a sarcastic way

Saw it right away, but I own a lot of LV. The color, the pattern gave it away immediately. Never ever buy on EBay! Do not send it back, you will never Get Your money back. Only hassle. The EBay management are not too eager to follow up conterfeit either. Just reported one seller last night that had 7 bids on a leapard stole, but Ebay has made reporting Very inconvenient as they took away the link that used to be under the sellers identification before.
