Taking a break from luxury purchases now. The dior scandal has been a real wake-up call & lately in Ca. it isn’t really safe to carry them.

You make some good points, there’s a lot going on in the luxury community right now. I can also relate to not always feeling comfortable wearing my luxury purses due to safety.

Such an informative video! I first watched your video for the review on the Easy Pouch, as I wanted to get it but didn’t!! I didn’t realize there would be a price increase!! The Monogram split scarf was $1180(cad) in December & and now it’s 1250! Not sure when that price increase happened though.

Yes, it’s so unfortunate to see the prices jump when we’re eyeing something whether the price increase is big or small! Thanks for sharing the increase on the scarf I didn’t catch that one but it does show that pretty much all categories were affected this price increase.

Dionysus monogram, love it. I wasn’t much of a fan of monograms before, but the color of Gucci’s monogram, when paired with beige suede, looks more subtle and elegant than other fashion houses’ monogram designs. *condup*

The MoMcoco bags are gorgeous in their size, weight and color. Bought pink, cream and blue. I think I might go back and order the light lilac, light blue and red. I own some high priced designer handbags, but I like these even more!

Great work on another well-researched video! I think LV has been super clever about increasing prices on popular items. E.g. how they updated the toiletry pouch so it could be worn as a bag and then massively increasing the price. The CEO of LVMH is one of the richest dudes in the world, I'm pretty confident they're not just increasing prices for the sake of inflation. 😂

Thanks Lo! You make a great point, LVMH knows exactly what they’re doing and they are well beyond price increases for inflation 😂 it’s unfortunate because I was really interested in the Pochette Métis EW but honestly I think now I’m priced out lol

I highly recommend the 1955 Horsebit mini bag. It comes with two straps and is super versatile. The nylon strap can be shortened and used like a fanny pack, which is how I usually wear it. But the leather strap is also very nice. I have the monogrammed brown version (the leather is coated and very durable) and it goes with everything. The hardware is amazing. *condup*

Do you find it too wide/big and bulky? I’ve just bought the *gtdupe* which is basically the same width and my only worry is it bumping into things and wear on the corners, has yours scuffed?

This is a bag I adore but like you said there’s other bags I’m prioritizing first, I also now have to reconsider whether I feel that the handbag is worth this new price 😅 It’s such a popular style so I see why LV is trying to capitalize on that. Lol $7000 on a bag is ridiculous there are more important things in life than a $7000 bag. I’ll take the *preluxz* in this case because I can’t afford the real thing.

Why does the PM east- west cost more than the original? It is half the size so it uses less materials.

I completely agree, there’s no way the east west version should be more when it’s more like a mini size. I’ve noticed this with the speedy b 25 and the speedy 20 as well, a significant amount smaller but costs a good amount more!

You do make a good point, the complaints on quality and service are definitely more frequent now. I like a lot of the new releases but they are very redundant, variations of bags they already have in the permanent collection and styles that have come back from their archives as well.

So what’s the issue with LV price increase? Every brand increase their price. If it seems expensive for you then maybe you’re not LV’s market. Lv is not for people living below the poverty line.

I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from*preluxz* for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

No matter the appearance or the metal parts of the niceshopx I believe that as long as you are not a practitioner, you will never see any difference
