Carol... you and this bag are fabulous! I have this bag but am on the fence. It’s so gorgeous but omg... it’s heavy. You are absolutely right when you say that the weight is very evenly distributed. And the strap drop is amazing! Thank you LV for finally giving us a bag with user-friendly straps. But Carol, the weight.... what a dilemma. What a first world problem lol...

Your discription of the inside color is the best things I’ve heard in a while. I will use that going forward when I need to describe anything similar in color. 😂 great video!

From what I can tell your bag is the smallest of the two sizes. 250g converts to just over half a pound. Not bad at all! I'm not surprised so many people are interested in this bag...it's gorgeous. Great video. I loved the subscribe edit. Cute. Have a great day!

250 g is super light. Unlikely it's only 250g unless it's not leather. 5 medium size eggs weigh 250g. A pear weighs 200g. My lightest Mansur Gavriel bucket bag weighs 569 g so maybe you can re weigh your bag again, Carol Summer =)

I’ve had mine for quite a while and one thing is that it will soften and it won’t look as stiff or structured. I’m pretty tough on it and it’s durable.

I’m bought this bag because of your review thank you so much. However, I want to know that you protect the bag with a water resistant spray for product the bag ?.

Congrats!! I also bought Onthego GM and MM and made a comparison video between GM, MM and Neverfull MM. I thought the GM size was too big and too heavy for me. How tall are you? I decided to keep the MM size. Not sure if this was the right decision.

Hi Carol! Hope you are well :-) Still saving up for this one, it is taking forever :-)) Anywho - are you still loving it? Can I use it as a carry-on bag for travel? Not planning to go anywhere anytime soon, because of Covid, but when that time comes, if I put a light blanket (cause I dislike airplane blankets very much :-)), a couple of magasins, some SLG's etc, it shouldn't weigh too much, right? YAAAAY!!! Congrats!!! I’ll honestly say I use it as a regular tote. Took me some time, but I don’t pay much attention to what I’m specifically wearing. In my mind it works a bit like a Chanel classic: can be worn with sneakers and jeans as well as a fancy dress. For days at work when I have meetings and need to grab a lot with me it pairs stunningly with a skirt and blazer or jeans and blazer and then some neat sneakers, heels or flats. Yesterday I carried it during a heat wave with shorts, tank top and a long length open blouse on top. And Birkenstock’s: it worked! At least in my mind... maybe everyone else thought “what a freak” 😏😂😂

Love it. So classy.

I have had two bags in empriente leather for a few years. The problem I have found with it is that the surface of the leather has a tendency to rub off, so given this, I wouldn’t buy it without feet. I have learned that lesson the hard way. The glazing on the other hand is fantastic compared to the canvas bags. I have seen so many canvas bags on KZread on which the glazing has cracked. The glazing on the empriente is rubbery and very pliable so it moves easily with the bag and I have had no issues at all with it. I hope this helps.

I have no experience with LV canvas bags because I don’t like them. It would be a good idea to watch a lot more reviews before making a choice.

I am not into buying canvas bags that have such a high price tag. With leather I don’t have to baby it around, I can wipe it clean and it’s good to go and definitely on a bag like a tote: the bag should serve me not the other way round. The booktote is also not the friendliest to wear on the shoulder and I feel it’s a must when the weight creeps up. That being said: I LOOOOOVE the way the DIOR tote looks 🤤🤤🤤 But practicality is the main concern I worry about.

Great video! I have one ordered and am picking up tomorrow.... I cannot decide if it is the right bag for me or not! I just had my neverful handle break (after ~10 years) and need a replacement. I am pretty rough on my bags, though, so am nervous about how leather will hold up

Bahahaaaa!!!The description of the inside colour is hilarious😂🤣😂I always thought,that the reverse canvas looks like stomach flu-ish🙈...I own the reverse mono Onthego in GM btw. ...and love it❤❤❤Must say that the canvas shoulder straps are a pain in the butt.I use mine as a work bag,and I need to carry it a lot around.I find myself grabbing it by the handles - and I am not born as a hand-held-bag-person..... May I ask where you come from,as you measure in cm?Germany here ;-)

Thank you for the video, I want this bag so badly. Today I feel so privileged to be able to watch a video on luxury goods let alone the fact that I bought a Petit Noe last week and looking to buy a compact wallet like I don't already own a zippy coin purse. I've just gone through my shoes and clothes and I'm off to the back of my supermarket car park where I can leave them for homeless people. I didn't put trash in the bundle either, there's brand new boots with tags on, work clothes, knits, shoes, socks (lots of socks) leisure wear. I hope anyone who reads this and has the ability/capacity to give today to the less fortunate, does just that. Since we all shop so much I know we have stuff that we could give to others. What a lovely message!!!! I agree with you entirely. Every time I make a purchase that is not a necessity I do have a mental check with myself to say that I’m in such a lucky position. I have been homeless myself, even though it was only about a week it was traumatising enough to have opened my eyes more towards the hardships many people have to endure. Donating and helping out the less fortunate is almost the minimum we should do. Much love to you and your family! ❤️

Are you sure about the weight of the bag? 250 g sounds incredible ! Even my Neverfull MM in canvas weighs more than 500 g without the pochette. And my Speedy 25 in Empreinte leather weighs 800 So 250 g would be a dream weight. Could you check that again, please?

C A R O L S U M M E R I’m also 1.8M tall and I find the Birkin to be quite heavy and the handles only allow for crook of the arm and down by your side carrying. This review was really good and I look forward to your wear and tear update. :)

nordette I got it in 2014, was on a waiting list since 2011 though. It’s in flawless condition but I used to use it a lot. It’s just too heavy for my style now and I like to carry on the shoulder or cross-body.
