This was really interesting to see how your thoughts on LV have changed over the years because I feel the same. I do own several of the items you mentioned but I bought them around 10 years ago when they were nowhere near the cost they are now. I wouldn’t buy them new now. The prices have more than doubled in some cases and while I still think they are worth what I paid for them back then I don’t think they are worth the prices they are now. There’s so many good, less expensive brands out there these days that I feel LV have cut their own throats with the outrageous price increases and now it’s too late to go back because other brands have jumped in and taken the middle luxury ground that they left vacant a few years ago.

This doesn’t make sense to me to buy a Metis preloved ! Because it has issues lv fix them for free not sure they would a preloved one then you loose out ! They even give you a brand new one sometimes they wouldn’t if it was preloved!!

Obviously i would look for a used one with no existing issues. I wouldn’t want to keep running back to LV to have a bag fixed that coast me that much money. That’s just my opinion. I just don’t think it’s worth the price and I owned both preloved and new.

@ but they don’t start with issues they get them after use ! So you’d be stuck with a bag with issues you’d have to pay to fix or sell for a big lose ! I have a Metis it go a tiny crack and it was replaced straight away ! I’d always recommend new it’s a no brainier to me !

I couldn’t agree more on Pochette Metis. Because mine is sitting in my closet collecting dust because the canvas where the natural folds is cracking in both sides. Trying to sell with no luck. So yeah not worth it the stress i went through.
