Now it's a decrease in quality and an increase in prices. There is no reason to buy genuine products, it's better to buy counterfeit products with even better quality than genuine ones *condupcom*

There also monogram canvas treated leather beige one new style summer 2020. I love mine I totally recommend it I don't have to worry about water stains.

I just came across this video... I'm not sure when it became available but there is now a World Tour version of the Pochette Metis. The leather is black and the interior red. It's so gorgeous!

I had both and ended up keeping the empriente in noir and love it 💕It’s so much more care free, matches with every thing and looks so beautiful in person💕

I have been going back and forth between the empreinte leather vs. monogram PM for several weeks -- THANK YOU for this video. So helpful to see them side-by-side and to here your point of view on the pros and cons! I'm still a little torn because I like the classic look of the monogram - but really appreciate how the empreinte is so much less fussy and easier to care for.

What s also good abt mono pm is that you can use that strap on mono PA, mono speedy bandouliere.. alma.. i also like the mono even though i have the empreinte noir.. definitely empreinte give a bit more elegant / not too flashy look.

Love to have the black leather. So chic. Buy what you love why care about it resale value. My Almas show some light cracks even I barely use them. I think it's normal depending where you live and the climate is colder or hotter. We pay so much for a bag and expect it stays perfect forever. Everything depreciate overtime. Don't stress too much about it, just enjoy the beauty of it. Who glue eyes to see at little corners

Before we bought the monogram canvas PM, we had a possibility to try, touch and feel several PMs at lv store, empreinte leather is great and so durable, but we ended up at canvas. Sabina from Apple City I know I struggled too because I was actually able to get a mono canvas and then checked out empreinte at store. The price difference definitely added to the difficulty. But at the end, I believe I chose the best choice for me. The canvas is definitely still gorgeous and if I had extra money lying around I would definitely add that-maybe the reverse haha! Vachetta scares me 😅❤️

Great vid. Managed to get the unicorn bag online yesterday in UK at 5.30pm. Waiting until it arrives to start my KZread channel. Thanks for the inspo!! Wondering if we could use patent leather treatment on canvas to avoid cracking of glaze? I use on all my patent leather goods and it really helps. Hum… thoughts? Would be super cool to hear from you. Also there is a channel called Rainy something and she treated the monogram pm with a leather guard and revised one yr later. Didn’t stop patina but did stop rain and oil stains!

Thanks for the comparison! I didn't know the monogram has only 5 holes really big difference... I'm glad I got the empreinte (monogram is not available anyway at my boutique... Long wait-list) cuz I'm 4"11 and the 7th hole it's perfect not too long for shoulder strap and perfect for crossbody 👏😊

Sexy eL-eL I was surprised too. I guess maybe the grommets had something to do with it, like if they added 2 more grommets the price would’ve increased, so they left it at 5 haha! I do like the option for more adjustability too! ❤️

SueMae Everyday the weird this is the older model canvas PMs Used to have 7 holes. LV seems so confused sometimes lol

The black one looks amazing, i even got myself a similar one from a website my friend told me about. Its called superfake store and i started ordering from them since they have such good prices.

Hi I need help ... I just purchased the Gucci 1961 then I saw the LV pochette Métis in monogram should I return the Jackie or also buy the LV?

It's not weird. Easy to understand. They use different inside layer to support the outside. Empreint leather is softer needs a strong layer for keeping the bag shape.

I have the Reverse Canvas and Empriente in Marine/Rouge... I use the Empriente about 2 times as often as the Reverse Canvas... Love them both for different reasons. My next will be the Empriente in Noir unless LV does the Classic Monogram in a World Tour version... then the choice is much more difficult...

I almost purchased the Marine Rouge only because I love red! And I was stalking the reverse! So you have a lovely collection. ☺️ Also...the classic monogram world tour is available on the LV website. In the US, not sure where you are, but check it out! I was VERY tempted, but ended up with another world tour ❤️ Thank you for watching!

Empteinte noir is way more better ?

I’m so surprised that the empriente is so light! I have a petite Noé in Epi, and that’s surprisingly light. I’m usually hesitant to get all leather because of the weight. I think the empire te looks really rich and you don’t have to worry about cracks. Love your hair today! Hope you have a fantastic Saturday.

Dawn Loves Couture I was surprised that there was not much difference in weight. Really thought the empreinte would be significantly heavier. And definitely agree, I have no regrets with the empreinte. My hair has a mind of its own, I should really learn how to style it haha! But thank you! Hope you’re fully stocked and stay safe. I’m still in shock that they closed schools in the city for 2 weeks. Hoping we can return to our normal lives soon 🙏🏻❤️

Thanks for sharing. So I agree with most of what you shared however, as an owner of the monogram PM while I had to get a replacement of my original PM 3 years after my original purchase it was replaced for free. My replacement monogram PM has been perfect, the strap and canvas are super soft and pliable, my original strap was horrendous. I guess I'm saying that since LV seems to have figured out the production of the bag without major defects it's a win for me. Also, I recently purchased the Coach Cassie in black so I feel like I now have the best of both worlds.

I love the PM in Scarlet Empreinte 🤩 and would also love the black but I have WAY too many black bags already! 🤣 I agree with you that the canvas is more flashy while being more casual, I don't know how it does it, but it does it! StyledByGwenny the scarlet looks gorgeous! I’m just a scaredy cat when it comes to bag colors, I’m always sticking with what’s safe for me, because I’m boring like that! And when I was trying on the monogram, it was like screaming “look at me! Just LOOK AT ME” and I could imagine having a little discomfort wearing it out because I don’t go anywhere that would require flash. Haha! 😅❤️

Canvas needs to be used or it dries up sadly. The oils on our hands keep the glaze more supple.

I checked with lv store but they refused to help me and the reason has been given we don’t deal with leather issue I feel such an expensive bag and lv has no cure

From the packaging to the details of the bags, I think the*yutulu* shop has made reproduction an art form.

I just got rid of all my canvas Vuitton because there are so many fakes out there I was embarrassed to carry it. I live in NYC and see all the newest style fakes. I was out the other day and was very glad to see no fake Coach of any kind out there! They had tons of everything else but no Coach. So now I buy Coach. It's well made, and they have nice things that are all leather and not just monogrammed canvas.

I totally get what you are saying. There are fakes everywhere!! The leather version of this bag is beautiful though.

Since covid, the LV website has been littered with this monogram bag. LV is no longer playing and manipulating with the stock of this bag anymore. Lv need to sell them since their company’s stock market value has plummeted dramatically and they are haemorrhaging money! The monogram Pochette metis are now in stock 24-7.

Can someone explain me WHY should I throw $100 for a poor replica when I can get a bag almost like the real one #dolvsaaa ?

I love my Métis. I want more but I don’t at the same time 😂 I could do without the leather zip pull on the empriente and add the deng grommets to the handle. I bought one empriente piece before they launched and never again (never say never). Love it but the cracking just kills me. 💔

I just priced them today and was blown away. The Neverfull totes have increased by almost $800 from when I purchased mine 2 5 years ago. Unbelievable!
