Is the whole videoed episode available anywhere? It's so much better when you can see their facial expressions. Like Louis silently cracking up. I've been listening to them all on the Sounds app but video adds so much more to the listening experience. They should all be up on the iplayer or KZread (are they?) 🙏🏻 This is so funny 😆 Been a fan of Chris' since the IT CROWD - that bit where he's carted off in a wheelchair saying, in his little voice "I'm disabled", still cracks me up. Me n my family still refer to it 😆🤣

Most of their hearts were in the right place, just the action of singing that particular song was mis-placed. 90% of those celebrities, if they never worked again, would still be financially well off, their families are mostly fit and healthy and would be cared for if anything went wrong. However if you're unemployed or lost your income due to COVID, you or family or friends were suffering from COVID and/or any other illness, your living space is the size of a small postage stamp, or wasn't for various reasons not a safe place to be, then Gal Godot singing at you from her sizeable, luxurious, comfortable and safe home would be far from endearing. If those same celebs clubbed together and raised money for medical resources, or encouraged people to keep informed about the virus from reputable sources, that would have been a more positive and meaningful action. Even using their increased spare time to make masks for their local community would have been a worthy thing to do. John Lennon, doesn't need any more royalties, but the people alive today and suffering from this awful pandemic, do. Just saying.

I agree with all of this but I question the opening statement about their hearts being in the right place. I think most actors/celebrities are just really insecure and will do anything for attention. The lockdown meant that they could no longer have their photos taken at glamorous parties and this video was a great opportunity to keep their faces in the public sphere. Still, this one was nowhere near as cringe as the "I take responsibility" video. My god, that was tragic.

@@kind-hearted-thievesjoe1512 Yeah, I agree. The only 2 reasons I can think of that you'd do this video are... A) to get attention and make people think you're a good person or... B) to try and lift people's spirits. While this sounds like it means that their hearts were in the right place, this means that you believe people will find joy watching you sing (horribly) an overrated song. To me that's worse than option A. People adore me so f***ing much, that blessing their lives with this song will help them forget about how sh*tty everything is right now. Pretty narcissistic if you ask me.

@@ardakolimsky7107 I am not sure what your point is.
I think the worst part was they did like three days into a lockdown that we knew was going to go on for weeks at that point (and later went on for months) and then it was these rich celebrities in massive homes telling us to imagine a world where we have nothing and how much simpler it would be. Like, ok, why don't you downsize then? I suppose there's the argument to be made that, oh, it's just about accepting what you've got - it could be worse (as opposed to total admonishment of capitalist society). But at the same time - who wants to hear that from a celebrity, or celebrities, that has it all. 'Hey, guys, we're all in this together - and things could be worse'. Yeah, it's easy to say that when you live at the top level of society.
"someone said that the song was worse than the coronavirus itself" "😆That was you" lol joked

@ Magnawhiff TV. The music to "Imagine" still sounds beautiful to my ears. But the message in the lyrics is shot now after I watched an old Elton John video where he sends up this song bigtime. Elton is frank and full of mischief when he says ... "Yoko and John had the same shopping addiction I had. They (allegedly) rented another three apartments in the Dakota Building just to store their fur coats." "Imagine three apartments, I wonder if you can ..." he sings (from memory 😯).
