I'd like to point out that I DID NOT see Richard Ayoade sanitise his hands after the sewer tour. Until I have footage of this I will not be shaking his hand if I ever meet him. Richard: Checkmate.
...Richard Ayoade is a deadpan comic genius, but this is the first time I've seen HIM laugh
I’ve watched this many times now and I’ve 3 favourite bits. Fave bit 1: When Chris faked and then proceeded to actually drop the snowglobe fantastically. Fave bit 2: When Richard was narrating his feelings out loud afterwards which is the only reasonable reaction I now learned for future references. Fave bit 3: When the man pretended like he wasn’t heartbroken. Comedy gold.

I can't imagine they didn't - although when you think about it, (I have never been to Austria and have never knowingly owned an original Austrian snowglobe) but I've never handled a snowglobe where the glass part was NOT attached firmly to the base. The one they broke, the glass ball just rolled off of the base and fell on the floor - so I like to think it was a stunt snowglobe.
Shop owner: my snow globes on the floor it won't work now! Roy: have you tried turning it off and on again?
Richard actually smiling and laughing in this one!
