I like the fact that this guy almost OD'ed. He had to get out of there otherwise Criterion would have to explain a corpse.

Had such a crush on him around the time the Dreamers came out. Made me want to see more of him.

Jules et Jim... literally one of my favorite french films of all time. The most poetic film I've ever seen. Every single word uttered in that film is poetry.

"Jules and Jim- the matrix of so many French movies" I'd never thought of it like that, but now that he points it out, it seems to true and obvious.

He probably found out once he returned to his Paris apartment and popped one in, in front of his guest(s), after the dinner party he hosted, the one you were not invited to.
