    Conan uses them sometimes in his sketches, so yeah, when I watched his show, I knew almost all of them. There's Jimmy Vivino, his brother Jerry, La Bamba, the bald guy is Mark .. something, the keyboard player is Scott Healy.. oddly - I don't know the names of the black dudes ;))

    ensteffo Well, no one became a factory worker by pursuing their dreams, either. Don't get me wrong, it's an honorable thing to earn an honest living, but you're in no position to laugh at the compromise those musicians accepted if you haven't even taken a shot at your dreams at all; bearing in mind that no unskilled laborer or replacable office bureaucrat in the history of man has ever been living their dreams in terms of career choice.

  • @CaptainVideoBlaster

    @CaptainVideoBlaster

    7 жыл бұрын

    Most guys I knew when working a factory job got there because they followed their dreams instead going for the education route. Persons who wanted to be in sports but didn't make it, persons who's business went bust, musicians who didn't reach the fame... Higher skill level jobs is where you find more people who did not try follow their dreams (or their dreams are very mundane).

    He's not. As a comedian you can continue to get funnier as you grow older. A lot of good comedy is about life experience and perspective. However, as a dancer once your body is physically at its limit you will no longer be able to keep up with newer younger generations no matter how passionate you are or how much experience you have.

    ***** What does that have to do with anything ? It's a fact. "If you can't do it you can't critique it" is a dumb argument. Especially when the quality of a comics work or a dancers show is gauged by the opinions of their audience not each other. Besides, if you think that the limitations of a physical activity have nothing to do with age and what your body can do relative to new comers then there's no point arguing with you.
