Love at first sight my arse. First of all Mountbatten was gay and secondly if he fell in love with anything, it was her money, which he needed to finance his long term plan to avenge the anger and embarrassment of his father being demoted from his position in the navy.

I’m offended that you would put up such a faulty video. Please have more respect for your audience.
Just another example where sex in this story is so "picquant", and so what? Should you really care? History deserves better. The basic story of interest is who has served! And results accoridingly! Lady Edwina did what she did, and moreover, hopefully she enjoyed it, having sex I mean. Normality has luckily been broadend nowadays, and for women too. Not meaning adultery is a good solutiton. But in these stories the woman is portrayed as a person who is "slightly" immoral and only suggetions are given to her husband (less details here). At least she had the guts to be a sexually active woman (Good for me and for you? Or not?). The double standard between classes also comes clear in regard to concepts of "race" or ethnical origion regarding lovers. The story of her husband might be too "delicate" to explore my be? I really don't miss details. Infidelity happens. Let people be judged by by what the have achieved. But double standards are are maintained through the history until today.
