@@tommys2979 I lose stuff lol. If I put my headset on the cow fence, I'll forget it's there and I might be a half-acre away looking for it (The cow is about to deliver and she's raging. Tossing her horns and bucking, throwing rolls of hay around, so I take my headset off when I'm around her so I can hear her coming) I can hear it at least a half-acre away. I've never tested it any further.

@@That540iMSportif it’s the earlier generation which i assume it is (controlled manually instead of from a distance) it has a 5.3 liter inline 8 hemi. if it’s the second gen it’s powered by a 5.4 liter

Yeah there is a grey area between freedom to make noise and making a noise that is a publicly recognized alarm sound which could cause undue fear and panic, along the same lines as yelling "fire!" in a movie theater, ot yelling "active shooter!" in a school.

This beast produces about 135 decibels 1 full mile away. You would die if you stood in front of this thing. 😅 Sound is lethal above 160 decibels. The internal damage would be equivalent to getting hit by a small car going 20mph but instead of being hit as a whole every individual cell in your body is severely damaged. Sound can quite literally turn your guts into mush. At one point America tried to build a jet capable of un aliveing enemy soldiers with the sonic boom it created but unfortunately the engine technology at the time just wasn't powerful enough to achieve the results they hoped for. Today a regular fighter jet is easily capable of this you just need a certain level of crazy to fly less than 30feet from the ground going at least 714mph or mok 1. Dont even get me started on hypersonic capabilities. We have missiles capable of reaching over 6,000mph. The pressure produced by this monster is capable of turning you and your entire platoon into a fine red mist if your to close as it fly's by.

Yeah pretty much standing in front of it for a few seconds without ear pro would definitely do some irreversible damage. It's the same feeling you get in your head when a nitro funny car goes by you. The video really does not do it justice.

Plugs and muffs. Double ear pro and approach from the rear. You are looking at a nrr of ~50. You can tolerate that for a couple seconds. Right in front of the horns it would do some really bad things to your body, the sound is loud enough it would start to damage your organs

I lived next to UCLA and had a Job in Beverly Hills on my way to work on 911 you can hear this going off In The city, my roommates were already telling me about a plane hitting the tower wasn’t till i got to work when I heard about the second plane. They sent us home and it was a trip, at first word was they don’t know if there’s any planes coming to hit LA which was bullshit.
