I just discovered a new source for loud magic clips. After changing the cam out on mine they were still noticeably louder than they should be. After trial and error tearing apart every piece I discovered that the motor was rattling due to the slow breakdown of the cushions that surround the motor. I added double sided tape in a few spots around the motor and reassembled the clippers. They now sound like the day I bought them.

Do you just put the tape in random spots on your motor or on the edges ?

I’ve found sometime when you buy the pieces they are just made with a 3d printer and not printed perfect

It still sounds loud

Do I need to use oil in addition to the spray cleaner/lubricant?

@@judithpena1983 something is loose. Try adding tape on the battery a ring around where the foam has worn down. Or find foam strips

My cam follower keeps popping out 🤦🏿‍♂️
