New to London Central as PVL142. Unusually this and 3 other PVLs (1939/1941/1943) were brought out of driver training duties from Bluestar to help Morebus take over the Yellow Buses routes such as the 1, following their collapse. For a short while this was also on loan to Plymouth Citybus as 1216
I'm told that with the ex-Yellow Buses, the 1s are tightly timed whereas the 5s not so much. Thankfully the 5s are also a higher priority for newer buses, so you'll find these old deckers working the better routes (when they’re not in reserve during the winter season)
