There’s a reason they don’t just use red rubber in the first place. They want the sole paint to wear out immediately. It all plays into the status symbol that are Louboutins. As someone said below, “if you keep getting them repaired, then you’re not rich enough to have them in the first place” and that’s the truth. Celebrities wear them once or twice for a night, scuff them up, and then move on to a new pair. Like driving a new car off the lot...once those tires hit pavement, the re-sell value dramatically drops. If your red bottoms always look new with original soles, it’s because you’re rich enough to keep buying new pairs.

I don’t care about design stuff to me it’s a ridiculous concept to walk around in pain , for the sole purpose of getting a certain kind of attention for a material possession you paid way more than is worth , made form materials that cost a fraction. Comfortable shoes are more important that what another persons impression of me is . That’s my opinion, thank you 🙏 God bless those that feel they need to show people that because they paid a lot of money for something they are in some way superior. This is the problem with society they sold out to the media and advertisers.

STATUS, STATUS, STATUS, NOT QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY. There are shoes out there for hundreds less that are as good a quality if not better quality than Loboutin's and Jimmy Choo's. His name got pushed to the top by celebs. If a can of crap was sold to a celeb and they liked it then crap in a can would go for thousands of dollars just because a celeb ate it.

I hate when people resole new designer shoes, the leather is very sturdy and doesn't need to be replaced after a few wears. It's much better and cheaper to leave the leather soles intact until they actually start to wear out and need to be replaced. Also, rubber isn't as durable as shoe leather in the long term, I've seen 100 year old shoes who's leather soles still have tons of life left, where a 30 year old rubber sole has dried out and disintegrated. There's a reason that leather has been used for shoe soles for 1000s of years.

  • @massimookissed1023

Louboutin's are just as (un)comfortable as any other designer shoe. All my sneaker-style Louboutins require that I tape my feet before I wear them. Guess what? It's the same process for my other designer sneakers such as Valentino. My Greggo and Cousin Greg Louboutins are actually incredibly comfortable. I've worn them many a full-day and never had a problem. Designer sneakers on the other hand? Nightmare.

A lot of people don't realize the reason these shoes are so expensive is because the people behind the shoes get paid a fair wage. In Italy they have strict laws about paying workers fairly, thus part of the price tag. A lot of people do not buy these shoes for the status symbol, they buy them because they're high quality and made by craftsmen.
