LOTS OF COAL on BNSF's Hinckley Subdivision

For some reason, for a short week back in November, I saw 4 coal trains, almost in a row. There's also been a number of other coal trains coming recently, mostly at night though. I wonder what this sudden rush in coal demand is for, most coal trains for Superior typically go there via the Brainerd sub but it seems they've been favoring the Hinckley route more recently. I even saw an extremely rare Union Pacific coal from Colorado with a new paint SD70ACe leader. Enjoy the video!
Huge thanks to my supporters

Its because of the biome: trees, grass etc. Train horns sound better in forest areas.

Your coal trains are much nicer then CP’s or if you want to call them “CN coal trains” as CPKC runs coal for CN, in the 4 years recording coal trains in British Columbia I have never seen an EMD used on a coal train, in fact they keep the dirty gevos and toasters and never wash especially if there in DPU duty, one they lead you almost can’t see what trains coming it’s as dark as NS! Lmao
