The twist of these videos is learning that 2 hours of gameplay were condensed down to 14 minutes. Overall great video and excellent gameplay.

Not allowing the yuriko player to dig for answers to the displacer kitten seems a little bad. Man that card is so good

I don't think I've ever seen a Yuriko trigger that many times for that few damage before

I saw a nanogene conversion 16 triggers for Yuriko (cause of roaming throne) for less than 10 damage before…

Kind of sad I didn't get to see my boy Kodama do anything, but still a fun game to watch

I just took apart my Sakadama deck last night, and my inner Timmy wept. It seems like they only really shine when there's a good stax deck in the pod.

I refuse to say anything now but putting "bunches and bunches of mana" into an X spell.

As a Yuriko player I felt this game in my soul. I have felt like Yuriko is the absolute best deck in the format at coming in 2nd place.

Great game to watch! All the players had some great opportunities and it was fun to watch them interact

Lotho pilot should have been more patient with saga having a pair on constructs would have swung that into his favor and he wouldn’t have had to rely on pita with no backup

Community question! I'm genuinely trying to grow as a CEDH player. Did the Yuriko player mess up killing his two* opponents when the Thrasios* player was such a threat with that much treasure? Or did the Yuriko player make the right call because the two he killed were about to win?

I'm not a professional cedh player, but there were no mistakes i think. It wasn't a determenistic kill with sea gate restoration - only luck after tutoring null rod to deactivate treasures. It was a good play because there are not that many cheap answers in dimir for million treasures except rod. Without Otawara (or another counter-protected removal) in hand the game would have ended in Yuriko's favor.

@@christopherlapp4553 I’m just trying to get a sense for what’s normal in higher power games. My playgroup is in a weird spot right now. I like higher power but aiming for 30 minute games excludes a lot of strategies and fun commanders.

Because he would have to exile a card. It’s the same as a mulligan to 3.

I love watching games like this simply bc everyone almost always say "you should be winning turn 4". It does happen, but in most games I'm in & have seen, it's generally turn 6.

That's because the meta has shifted away from Turbo strategies in favor of midrange strategies utilizing draw engines such as The One Ring. Notion Thief goes crazy now

I don't get why people are so mad about Oracle - oracle is just one of many cards that says "win the game". What really wins the game is establishing infinite mana and infinite draws. Underworld Breach decks don't need Oracle anymore ever since a tutor also has the text "win the game if you have enough mana" on it yet nobody cries about Finale of Devastation..

I'd argue Eldrazi Displacer deserves at least a honorable mention... Mike, the only opponent unhindered by Magistrate, would've probably won if he hadn't been deprived of so many Yuriko triggers because Zeb kept blinking his only flying creature.

It is probably just an editing oversight, given that Mana Crypt was untapped and on the battlefield before Null Rod resolved. It would have been possible to tap it for the 2 mana before it could no longer activate.
